The Path To Follow.

“Those who follow the right path fear the Lord; those who take the wrong path despise him.” Proverbs‬ ‭14:2‬ ‭

Is your life being led by His word or the world? We have to make sure that we choose to be led by God and not by what the world tells us to live by. God's standards for us are the complete opposite of the world's. When the world leads us we end up in sadness, loneliness, and sin. When the Word will lead us to joy, hope, faith, contentment, and peace. We have a choice in life, God has given us free will. We can choose the path that leads to all the good things, that is following a Godly path. We also have the same choice that we can choose wrong and choose the path that leads us the wrong way. My mom once told me that sin will take you further than you want to go. So be certain before you choose to follow a path that is the right one for you. Today, choose to follow the path that the Word of God teaches us about. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:26‬ ‭ “For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.” Psalms‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭ “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Psalms‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
