Friend In Jesus.

“I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.” John‬ ‭15:15‬ ‭

One thing will remain throughout our whole lives, that is God. No matter the season He is there with us. Have you ever noticed how when things are going great your so-called friends are close as can be, but the second things even start to look like they're not going well they scatter? Friends in this generation are so hard to come by. We have a friend who will remain, Jesus. He knew we would need someone to be there every season, and He is that friend. Real friends stick by you no matter the season of your life. Today, know that whatever you're facing God will be your friend. He is a friend that will be there no matter what. You are loved by your friend Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Greet Ampliatus, my dear friend in the Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭16:8‬ ‭ “A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Proverbs‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭ “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”Proverbs‬ ‭18:24‬ ‭ “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
