He Keeps His Word.

“He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:21‬ ‭

When God makes a promise to us we can write it down and count on it. God told me that He would do something for me one time. I didn't see a way for that to happen exactly, I was in a situation and saw no human way out. God doesn't work in the ways we think. I later felt God speak to me that I wouldn't know the day it would happen, and I wouldn't know the way. That is exactly how it happened. I could have written down the promise He gave me, which couldn't have been more accurate. God knew what He was doing, and that is why God didn't tell me how it would happen. When God gives us the promise He doesn't give us the details. Today, trust God with the details and count on the promise. God has never lied, and He never will. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ “Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” John‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭ “And he who is the Glory of Israel will not lie, nor will he change his mind, for he is not human that he should change his mind!”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭15:29‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
