A Year Of Blessings.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

I was driving down the road the other day and I began to think about how something I was praying for. I was thinking about how a year isn't very long and I needed that prayer answered by then. I felt God speak to me and say, "But did you think you could be here last year?" I then realized over the last year God has done miracle after miracle in my life. He has done amazing things for me. Who is to say our biggest dreams cannot come true in the next year? We need to stop putting a timetable on God and let Him work on His own time. Today, don't doubt what God can do for you over the next year. He is going to bless you in ways you did not even see possible. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If those who live there are peaceful, the blessing will stand; if they are not, the blessing will return to you.” Luke‬ ‭10:6‬ ‭ “From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” John‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭ “The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.”Proverbs‬ ‭10:22‬ ‭ “So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.”Galatians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
