Be Loud About Jesus!

““Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭10:32‬ ‭

Stand firm in what you believe in. It's not real to believe in something if it wavers on whomever you are around. If you're truly a Christian you can be a Christian around anyone. You should never hide your religion, but being gentle and not pushing people is also important. I have learned to be more and more open that I believe in Jesus, I am a Christian and proud of it. Have you ever been ashamed of God? I know it's difficult sometimes to be the one person in the room who doesn't do certain things or say certain things, but it's okay to be that person. In school, friendships, relationships, or anywhere I was always the first person to talk about my faith. I have realized that why would I be quiet about the greatest thing that has or ever will happen to me? Today, be open about your faith in Jesus. Don't be afraid of what others might think, God is most important. Be loud and proud about Jesus! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”” Romans‬ ‭10:11‬ ‭ “If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.””Mark‬ ‭8:38‬ ‭ “But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!” 1 Peter‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
