God's Best Is For You!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

God will show you everything He has been doing behind the scenes. We tend to look at the present, not the future, which can be good but also bad at the same time. When we focus on the now we aren't worried about the future, but when we are too caught up in the now we forget that God always has something amazing for us ahead. God doesn't forget to bring the blessings to us, when the trials are over we find the beauty in the small things in life. God doesn't think that small things are the only things for us, but we have to learn to be content with what we do have before we can receive more. Today, start by being grateful for what you have but know God has even bigger and better for you. The now is not forever, but better things to come. God's best is for you! Don't wait forever, know that God will do the very best things for you and your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.” Psalms‬ ‭139:5‬ ‭ “There is hope for your future,” says the Lord. “Your children will come again to their own land.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:17‬ ‭ “In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.” Proverbs‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
