No Greater Love Than Jesus!

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭

We dream of having someone that will love us through our darkest times and in our best of times. We want someone that will show us they love us by their actions not just their words. The most important thing is we tend to forget that Jesus has done just that. He has loved us since He formed us in our mother's wombs. He has loved us no matter how many times we have failed Him. He has loved us through every moment, and most of all He has proved it with His actions time and time again. He leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, while He also welcomes us back with open arms. He never lets us forget the way He loves us by saving us from the sins we get ourselves into. Have you ever noticed that every time we mess up, He doesn't throw it in our faces? Instead, He welcomes us back with a warm hug and forgiveness. He proves His love everyday if we are willing to accept it. Today, let Jesus love you the way no one else will. You will never experience a love greater than Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ “This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭ “We love each other because he loved us first.”1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
