Don't Carry The Baggage.

“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭

The Bible shows us the stories of forgiveness over and over again. We each fall short of God's gracious glory, and we must remember that although we are far from perfect we are forgiven. We each deal with guilt from something we have done, but we must ask God to forgive us and stop carrying that baggage. When you make a mistake instead of holding on to it, let that forgiveness God gave you overcome the sins. God knew we couldn't be perfect, so He sent Jesus to pay the payment that we couldn't spend. We are forgiven, we are free. Today, ask God for forgiveness instead of clinging to the baggage. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭“Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.””‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:48‬ ‭“And Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”” Luke‬ ‭7:50‬ ‭“Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’” Matthew‬ ‭18:33‬ ‭
