It Is Possible With God!

“He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭

No matter how unrealistic the dream seems know that with God it is possible. God has a way of making things happen even when our human minds think that He can't. I think of the story of Jesus' birth. Mary was engaged to marry Joesph, they were in a relationship and committed to each other. Mary was a virgin yet an angel came to her and told her that she was going to give birth to a Son and His name would be Jesus. He then was born a virgin. See God could have chosen anyone to be Jesus' mother, He chose a way that would be impossible humanly speaking. He knew His power is best shown in situations that we cannot manipulate into being possible. When God gives us dreams they often seem so big that they are impossible, but then when He makes the way possible we have no choice but to give Him the glory. Today, know that dreams can and will come to pass, and in that moment of the impossible becoming possible, we must give Him the glory. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.””Matthew‬ ‭19:26‬ ‭ “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”” Mark‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ “Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!” Romans‬ ‭11:33‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
