Love Others.

“Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.” 2 John‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭

We have to pray each day that our lives will be the proof of Jesus' love. Over the last few years, I have learned that sometimes God puts people in my life who are difficult to show us how to love others without boundaries. Sometimes we have to love those who irritate us to show the love of Jesus to them. We are here to set an example, sometimes including those who have hurt us, those who annoy us, and even those who are mean to us. So many times in the Bible we see how Jesus loves those around Him even when they betray, hurt, or say mean things to Him. We have to do the same in our lives. We are meant to live a life like Jesus. Today, show love even when it's difficult. Here are some verses to reflect today. “We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.” Romans‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭ “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭ ““Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.”Luke‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭
