Make Room.

“She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.” Luke‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭

In the story of Jesus' birth, we are told that there was no room for Mary, Joesph, and soon-to-be Jesus. No one had a spare room, somewhere to let Mary have Him. Someone in the town could have made room and chose not to. Are we doing the same thing today? Are we too busy filling our minds with games, movies, work, school, and activities that we are leaving no room for Jesus? Today, make room for Jesus in every level of your life. A life filled with Jesus is the best life that we can have. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.””‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭ “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”” Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭ “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ “It’s true that we can’t win God’s approval by what we eat. We don’t lose anything if we don’t eat it, and we don’t gain anything if we do.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭8:8‬ ‭
