Merry Christmas To All!

“But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels.” Luke‬ ‭12:9‬

 ‭Growing up my mom always taught me to say Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays. I never understood the depth until I was older. It's the small things they try and remove God from. They start by changing it to Xmas, to x out the meaning of this wonderful season, next thing we knew we couldn't read or teach about the Bibles in our schools. We have to remember to include God into anything we do in life, because the world sure won't. When you see people out use that as an opportunity to show the love, kindness and words of Jesus. Encourage others and include God in it. What life is about is God. We are here, we are chosen and we are forgiven all thanks to Jesus our Savior! We have to do what the world won't do. Today, don't let the world make you forget what this day really is about. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.” Luke‬ ‭9:26‬ ‭ “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.” John‬ ‭3:30‬ ‭ “But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.”Matthew‬ ‭10:33‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
