The Savior Of The World.

“How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!” Luke‬ ‭1:47‬ ‭

For us, a Child was born—the Savior of the world. In every fairytale, we have someone who is a savior. We are so blessed to be saved through faith. God sent Jesus to save the world. We sing Christmas songs, and I am one of those people who can listen to them year-round. I find so much joy in Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus! We each need to be saved a lot of times in our lives, and we know the one person we can count on is Jesus. He will always be our Savior. Today, be thankful this Christmas season, and find that Christmas cheer knowing you are celebrating Jesus' birth the one who came to save us all. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He sang: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22:2‬ ‭ “Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭ “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and” Psalms‬ ‭42:5‬ ‭ “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” Psalms‬ ‭43:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
