God Wants You To Succeed!

“May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭

God wants nothing more than for you to succeed. He sets us up for success all the time. See we all want our plans to succeed but have we ever stop to think that the plans God has for us could be even better than we have for ourselves? Our plans are often not as good because we tend to think we are not qualified enough. There are so many people in the Bible that had struggles. Think of Moses, He had problems speaking but God used Him to speak. God can use you no matter what you struggle with. Today, ask God to help you succeed in the ways  that He wants for you! He can open doors for you that no one can ever shut. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him.” 1 Samuel‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭ “You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.” Job‬ ‭22:28 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
