God's Love Is Real!

“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ 

‭God's love is not based on you, or how you choose to live your life, but you eternity is. God is going to love us no matter what, He created us. He never expected us to be perfect, He did expect us to believe and have faith in Him. We can make mistakes in life, we can be forgiven but we can never stop believing in God. We have to keep our eyes on the fact that we know our mistakes are forgiven, we are free and most of all we are loved. His love would not be the only kind of love we cannot find in any human if He did not love us no matter what we do. There are so many stories in the Bible that show a true example of His unwavering love, but my favorite has to be the story of Jonah. Jonah ran from God, ended up in the belly of a whale but God still loved Him and used Him as an example. Know that no matter what you have done God loves you and can use you to set an example to others of His love, grace and forgiveness. Today, put all your hope in God, never stop believing in Him and choose to live a life that is something God is proud of. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”Romans‬ ‭8:38‬ ‭ “No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭8:39‬ ‭ “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”Ephesians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭ “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
