He Will Meet You Half-Way!

““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?” Matthew‬ ‭18:12‬ ‭

Thinking God would leave the 99 to save 1 seems kind of ridiculous until you're that one. Knowing that in every aspect of your life He has watched you rise, fall, accomplish, fail, love, hate, smile and be broken but there has never been a moment that He did not want you. That is the definition of His true love and grace. We would never be who we are meant to be if He didn't meet us where we are. That is the amazing part, when He leaves the 99 to find the one He doesn't expect you to be in a place of perfection, He expects you asking for His help. He will guide you in the right ways. Today, if you've drifted from God know that it only takes one prayer to be welcomed home. He wants to come find you. You are the one and He will leave the 99. Know that you are loved and forgiven, but you matter to God and He sees you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away!” Matthew‬ ‭18:13‬ ‭ “And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders.” Luke‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭ “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
