In The Perfect Will Of God!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

If you are supposed to be there God will get you there! I know I recently wrote on Moses, the Israelites and the Red Sea, but this quote reminded me of it again. The Israelites were meant to be chased to the Red Sea to drown their enemies out. Mary and Joesph were meant to be in Bethlehem for Jesus to be born. Jonah was meant to preach in Nineveh although he had ran for a while. Jesus was meant to be in the garden when they found Him, so He could save us from all of our sins. Peter was meant to be in the crowd when he denied Jesus, just as Jesus had prophesied to him before. There are so many stories in the Bible that God lined up timing so that things would happen just as planned, but what I am getting at is if God wants you to be somewhere things will line up even things out of your control. God will make a way for things to happen even if you push those things away or try to run from them like Jonah. You will find your way to what is meant for you. Today, trust God to show you where you are meant to be. He knows best, and there is no place that you will ever be greater, happier and at peace at than in the perfect will of God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The Lord approves of those who are good, but he condemns those who plan wickedness.”Proverbs‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ “Now all glory to God, who is able to make you strong, just as my Good News says. This message about Jesus Christ has revealed his plan for you Gentiles, a plan kept secret from the beginning of time.”Romans‬ ‭16:25‬ ‭ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
