Read The Word Daily!
“Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23
Lately, I've been on a journey to establish a consistent Bible reading habit, and I'm excited to share that I've discovered a approach that's working for me. By creating a personalized Bible study plan, I've been able to dive deeper into topics that fascinate me, such as end-time studies. Each day, I read myself some scriptures, taking note of key insights and reflections. I've come to realize that while it's essential to nourish ourselves with the Word daily, consistency can be a challenge at times. My advice is to identify an area of the Bible that genuinely captivates you and start there, as if it were a tv show or any book you read. As you dive deeper, you'll likely uncover more topics that spark your curiosity and make you want to read even more! By committing to a daily reading practice, we can cultivate a deeper connection with God, trusting that He will help with our understanding of His Word. Today, I encourage you to trust in God's guidance as you read, and to take ownership of your spiritual growth by making time for the Word each day. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And there was great joy throughout the church that day as they read this encouraging message.” Acts of the Apostles 15:31 “If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.” Matthew 10:38 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” James 4:8
