This Is A New Day!

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭

It is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. We should let the joy of the Lord rule our day. We should wake up every morning rejoicing in the Lord for blessing us with another beautiful day. Everyday is a fresh start, the Bible teaches us that His mercies renew every morning. We should live each day as a new page in our lives. We are meant to live freely in Christ. That means we are free and have free will to do whatever we want with our day, but we also have to have self discipline and live righteously. Today, live today in the joy of the Lord using this day as a new page in your life. The problems and trials of yesterday are in the past and today is a new day to thank the Lord our God for. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭ “Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90:14‬ ‭ “But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.” Psalms‬ ‭59:16‬ ‭ “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”Psalms‬ ‭118:24‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
