Your Circle Matters.
“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”Proverbs 27:17
I recently reconnected with an old friend. We hadn't talked in years but contacted each other and realized we have gone through similar things in the last few years. This evening I had that friend on my mind, I sent a message letting them know I was praying for them and had been thinking of them. They replied, saying that their whole way home from work they had been thinking about sending a verses to me. I knew in that moment God brought our friendship back together for a reason. See, we tend to say that who we surround ourselves with doesn't matter. It matters, just like in the verses that I based this blog on we are here to uplift each other. A friend that is encouraging and helps you grow closer to God is so important. Today, if you have a friend that is a blessing from God, thank God for sending them to you in the right moment. If you're still praying for that friend, then know in the right moment God will send them to you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.”” 1 Corinthians 15:33 ““I will answer you and all your friends, too.” Job 35:4 “The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense.” Proverbs 27:9 “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.” Ecclesiastes 4:9
