Do Not Judge Others!

““Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.”Matthew‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭

Why should we think that we can judge someone when we are imperfect ourselves? We aren't perfect so when we judge others we are being hypocritical. Jesus is the only one who could have ever judged anyone as He never sinned and was perfect. There was a moment in the stories of Jesus while He walked the earth. He came upon a crowd that was trying to stone a woman for adultery. Jesus stopped them and told them, "You that have not sinned throw the first stone." No one threw a stone. As Jesus approached the woman to talk to her He could have chosen to judge her right then, He could have lectured her and told her how wrong her actions were. Instead, Jesus told her, you are forgiven. The thing is that we are quick to judge and we don't have a right, Jesus has every right to judge us for all the things we have done but if we humbly go to Him asking forgiveness He will freely give it. Today, stop judging others for what you have heard about them, and thank God He isn't judging you for what He knows about you. You are no better than the next person, none of us are. We should never judge someone. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone.” John‬ ‭8:15‬ ‭ “They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”” John‬ ‭8:7‬ “Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”” ‭‭John‬ ‭8:10‬ ‭““No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” ----------” John‬ ‭8:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
