God's Children Always Win!

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” 1 John‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭

When you put God first you will never be last. There is one thing you can count on, that is if God is on your side you will win every time. God never lets His people down. He takes care of His children. When you are in doubt, stressed, lonely, broken, or anything else know that God is on your side and will turn things around. We each face different battles, but as children of God we are destined to win every time. We win every battle, even when we think we lost. Sometimes winning looks like losing, but God has every battle won. He knows what is best for you, if you give your life to Him, then He will always have the best ready for you to have. Today, trust God to give you the best things in life. God will always put you first if you're putting Him first. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations.” Revelation‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭ “Repent of your sin, or I will come to you suddenly and fight against them with the sword of my mouth.” Revelation‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭ “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”” ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭ “And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
