His Mercy Remains.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭

A thousand times we have failed, but His mercy remains. We can fail Him over and over again and He will love you no matter what. His mercy has never and will never fail you, it covers any and all sins. When we mess up, we have to remember His mercy is there for us. He knew we were imperfect and always would be, that is why He sent Jesus. Our forgiveness is based on our willingness to change, our faith and if we choose the right path to have a full relationship with God receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. We cannot feed our flesh and push away the Holy Spirit. It's impossible to please God if we have yet to open our hearts to Him. Today, if you want to receive His mercy, ask Him for it. He will give it if you choose to turn away from your sins and give your life to Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.” James‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭ “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭ “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ “Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.” Psalms‬ ‭51:1‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
