Include God In Everything!

“And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭

Are you including God in everything that you do? We are so quick to make small things in life a bigger priority than God. That is so wrong of us, as God is more important than anything else. There is a verse in the Bible that I think of a good bit, it says that we must love the Lord with all of our heart, soul and all our strength. That means in everything that we do we should have the love of God in mind. Loving God is including Him. We don't leave people out that we love, we include them. Today, include God in every part of your day not just the big things. God wants to be apart of our lives but we have to accept Him in it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’” Matthew‬ ‭22:37‬ ‭ “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’”Mark‬ ‭12:30‬ ‭ “The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”” Luke‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
