You Can Never Run Too Far.
“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”” Deuteronomy 31:6
Tonight as I stopped by my house I realized my dog was out of the fence. I went into straight panic. I called my parents and they headed to help look for her. I asked the neighbors on our road and they had not seen her, By this time my parents arrived, I was across the street at the neighbors house and heard my mom say she heard dogs, I never heard what she actually said that being she heard my dog barking. I decided to go see what the dogs the next street over were barking at. I slowly drove down the road looking. I was sad, as I drove I prayed begging God to let me find her. As I got to the middle of the next road over, I seen her in a yard. I hollered her name, and she looked at me. As the door opened she came full force and jumped in the car, and sat down in my backseat. She looked so happy to find me. Now all of this goes to say that even when we are running from God, sometimes we just want to come home. When He sees us He isn't angry that we have ran, He is happy we are found. He wants to save us if we only will run into His arms to be saved again. No where you have ever ran is ever too far. You can never run too far for God to not want you. Today, instead of running from God, run to Him. All of this time He has never given up, instead He has been searching for you. He wants to find you and bring your soul back to Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’”Deuteronomy 20:4 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7 “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16
