Growing In Difficult Places.
“Its roots grow down through a pile of stones; it takes hold on a bed of rocks.” Job 8:17
I was walking outside tonight and seen a flower growing through the gravel I immediately thought of this verse. We tend to say that we cannot grow in a difficult season, but sometimes the prettiest things come from the hardest places to grow. See there were a million flowers in the grass, but what caught my eye was the flower in the rocks. It grew in a difficult place and that made it even more beautiful. We have things we each go through, but sometimes it makes us better people, better Christians or just more beautiful. Today, know that you've grown or will grow even in the most difficult places. God has the perfect plan for our lives. He can help us become all we need to be despite the enemy trying to pull us down. The Bible says He takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it for good. He will make you grow anywhere you are. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses.”Isaiah 35:1 “Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the Lord will display his glory, the splendor of our God.” Isaiah 35:2 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”Genesis 50:20 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
