In The Silence, He Is Working!

“And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭

You need to take time to rest and believe that God already has it taken care of. I am guilty of overthinking myself, but at times I have to come to a place where I fully trust God and His plan for my life. When I come to the place of fully trusting God with my problems I have to let go. In those moments of letting go I have to take that time to rest and know that if I prayed, then God heard me and already is at work for me. We as humans tend to mistake God's silence as that He didn't hear us. When often times His silence is Him at work for us. Today, think of how the silence you're hearing could be God working. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.” Psalms‬ ‭65:2‬ ‭ “In those days when you pray, I will listen.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:12‬  ‭ ““And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”Luke‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭ “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
