Be Willing To Move!

““And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”Luke‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭

What we need to start praying is that if we aren't where we are meant to be in this moment then ask God to lead you there. You cannot expect God to lead you when you aren't willing to move. It's like asking God to open a door for you to move to a different city and not willing to move to the different city. You have to be willing to do what you pray for. Today, if you're praying for something keep in mind how you will react if God does answer your prayer. When God opens a door you have to walk through it. Have the kind of faith that is not changed due to circumstances. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭ “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.” 1 John‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭ “And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
