God Doesn't Need Help.

“And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭

It's so easy to want to take things into our own hands and make things happen the way that we want. That is never the souloutin though. When we do that all we do is create a reality that we forced to be meant for us whether it actually is or not. I have been asking for God to open a door for me, I kept questioned why I could not go ahead and do things myself, and just get it over with. I felt God peak to me. "Because, making things happen only makes the outcome you want, not the outcome I want." I know the waiting isn't fun, and it's difficult, but what God has for you will find you. God has not forgotten you, He just works on a different time table than you do. Today, just keep having faith that what God really has for you will find you. Doing your part is one thing, but making something happen is another. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Luke‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭ “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭ “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.” 1 John‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
