God Will Show You!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Sometimes we can feel things before they even happen. God knows we have our flesh, our feelings but we also have the Holy Spirit. I had been feeling something last week, today I found out I was right. It wasn't anything bad but I knew in my Spirit about it before it even happened. I feel like when we truly get close with God then He can work in us without us having to ask. God will show you things at times before they even happen, but He also will provide the way. The Bible says, "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, Plans of good and not for disaster." That tells us that God's plans for our lives are good things. That tells me that when something is happening God's intentions are good, He will show us those good things at times. Today, know that not every time something is happening you won't know, but at times God will let you see it or feel it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ “You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:2‬ ‭ “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭ “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
