God's Plan Is Best!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Stop stressing, if it is God's will for you to have something then nothing will stop it. We tend to get ahead of ourselves at times questioning if God has forgotten us, we then out of impatiens take things into our own hands and force things to be the way we think they should be. That is one of the worst things we could ever do. When forcing things we only create a bigger mess, by making something that was never meant for us happen. What we instead need to do is trust God to make what is right for us ours. We cannot expect God to make things happen if we keep trying to do it ourselves. If God has something for you nothing will be able to take that away, and nothing will be able to stop it from happening. Today, hold on to hope knowing that God has something great in store for you, nothing will stop God's plan for your life if you will trust Him to do it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭ “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭ “May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
