Quiet During The Test!

“O God, do not be silent! Do not be deaf. Do not be quiet, O God.” Psalms‬ ‭83:1‬ ‭

God heard you, so just be patient. I heard a quote once that has always stuck with me, it said that the teacher is always quiet during the test. Have you ever thought that the silence you're facing could be the test? Sometimes our patience goes to show if we have the faith that we say that we do, God wants us to be patient waiting for Him to speak. Knowing God doesn't speak in the moments that we think He should is the start of trusting God. God speaks when He think's it's time, and having faith is trusting God to speak when His timing is right. Today, know that God heard you, maybe the test of your faith is to be patient in the silence. God will speak, but you have to be patient in the silence and faithful to Him and His word. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭ “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ “Should I continue to wait, now that you are silent? Must I also remain silent?” Job‬ ‭32:16‬ ‭ “O Lord, you know all about this. Do not stay silent. Do not abandon me now, O Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭35:22‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
