You Calling Might Not Be Understood.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭

Not everyone will understand the calling on your life, and that is okay. Think about the story of Noah. God told Noah to build an Ark, it wasn't raining. I am sure everyone couldn't figure out why in the world He was building an Ark when no rain was coming down. Noah did not care what people thought, He knew what God told Him to do. He built the Ark, loaded two of each animals, and got inside. He never changed what He was doing for God because of what people might think. We need to be bold in our calling, not caring what anyone has to say. Being called by God is the greatest accomplishment in life. No one's opinion will ever amount to what God's opinion of us is. Today, follow through with your calling, knowing that whatever you are called to do is important and what anyone says doesn't matter. They can think you're crazy until it begins to rain, but you know what God has called you to do and it is important. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ ““For many are called, but few are chosen.”” Matthew‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭ “And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.” Romans‬ ‭8:30‬ ‭ “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.”‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
