God Looks On The Inside.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭

People are always going to look at the outward appearance. Even from the Bible people have a done so. We might feel that they even judge us which is something God will handle. The great part is God never looks at the things we're insecure about. The Bible says that God looks on the heart. That means that nothing people pick at us over or that we notice about ourselves is important in the long run. Today, let go of the things people judge you, look at you funny over or anything else. God is more worried about the way you treat people, how your own attitude is, and all the things that only you and God know. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:2‬ ‭ “But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.””Jeremiah‬ ‭17:10‬ “God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.” Psalms‬ ‭44:21‬ ‭ “I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭29:17‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
