God Will Protect His Children!

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬

 ‭As an American citizen of course we as humans panicked at first when we realized the US had struck Iran today. Our flesh tells us to panic, be cautious and to wait for the worst. The Bible tells us not to fear. We cannot go by what we see but instead what we know. God will protect His people. We as believers are His children, no matter where we are we are protected. The Bible tells us not to worry about the terrors of the night or the arrows that fly by day. He has everything under control. He doesn't get upset the way we do, God knows and sees all. He will protect you if you put your faith in Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.” Psalms‬ ‭91:5‬ ‭ “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9‬ ‭ “no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.”Psalms‬ ‭91:10‬ ‭ “For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.” Psalms‬ ‭91:11‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
