God's Opinion Is All That Matters!

“So don’t be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭

At the end of the day what really matters is what God thinks of your choices. People will judge you, not agree with you and try to question why you make certain choices in your own life. What matters is not what they say, but what God thinks. Their opinions do not change anything in your life even when it seems like their opinions do. God's opinion is the one that changes everything. Think about the story of Esther where her uncle told her that if she did not do what was needed hope would arise from another place. When you fear the opinion of someone else will effect what could happen in your life, remember that God will allow hope to arise from another place. God can use anyone, and if He wants you to have something. Today, stop worrying about what others think, and worry about what God thinks. He knows best. He can make doors open in front of those who talk about you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.” Proverbs‬ ‭29:25‬ ‭ ““If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.” John‬ ‭15:18‬ ‭ “The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” John‬ ‭15:19‬ ‭ “If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
