Keep Praying!

“Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”John‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭

There are prayers that you once prayed that you are currently living in. You have to think back to a time in your life where you once prayed for the things that you have now. At times doubt will creep in and make you think that God isn't listening to your prayers. The Bible tells us that if we ask anything in His name then He will give us what we are asking for. He knows what we need before we ask, but when we ask it proves our faith that we know He can do it. There will come a time in your life, where you will look back on the place we are at now, all the prayers you are praying and you will thank God for listening and answering your prayers. Keep having the faith that God will do exactly what you're asking for. Today, keep praying even when you have doubts that you're being heard. Someday your prayers will become the reality in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.” Psalms‬ ‭65:2‬ ‭ “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ “Never stop praying.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
