The End Is Not Yet Here.

“And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.” Matthew‬ ‭24:6‬ ‭

I am a born and raised US citizen as most of you who read my blogs know. I know everyone in this country has heard about the possibility of wars. All of my social media is filled with the world is ending, Jesus is coming back, this war means it's the end and so much more. The problem is that creates fear inside us that isn't based on facts. I know Jesus is coming back soon, but this talk of war is not it. Let's break this verse down together. There will be wars, we know in this moment there are wars in the world. Israel and Iran, Israel and Gaza, and Russia and Ukraine are a few I know of. Those are wars happening. Then the rumors of the wars come in, where they say the United States is possibly going to get involved. The next part says that the end is not yet here. There are a few things you can depend fully on, one being that the Word of God is never wrong. This is not the end. The end is not yet here. The people saying it is are only putting fear in others minds even if its unintentional. Today, trust what God's word says. He knows and sees all. He knows what is happening, what has happen and what will happen. He has it all figured out. What we can do is have trust in Him to handle the things that we cannot. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.”” Luke‬ ‭21:9‬ ‭ “He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; he burns the shields with fire.” Psalms‬ ‭46:9‬ ‭ “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.” Psalms‬ ‭91:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
