The Love Of A Heavenly Father!

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭

Father's Day was a this passed Sunday. I have a wonderful dad. We are very close, he is my best friend, my pastor, my spiritual leader, and so many more things. He is always there when I need him. The love he has always given me is the true example of Jesus. When I think of how Jesus loves us it makes me smile. Not everyone had the same experience as me with a great dad, not every child has felt the love of an earthly father. I hurt for those who never have gotten to experience it. The good thing is we can all experience the love of God. Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we can ever think or imagine. His love never runs out, never stops and never lets go. Even when we get on the wrong path, He loves us. He never once has stopped loving you. Let Jesus show you what real love feels like. Today, know that Jesus loves you so much. Nothing you have done has made Him stop. If you've drifted away, He is only as far as you've went from Him. Go close to God, and He will come close to you. He wants to show you the love He has for you. Jesus' love for you is what real love is. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭ “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.” 1 John‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
