You Can Be Used For Good!
“But now your kingdom must end, for the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart. The Lord has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”” 1 Samuel 13:14
David was a man after God's own heart. He made mistakes, he sinned, he was imperfect. He was also a shepherd, musician, warrior, a king, author of many Psalms, Father to Solomon, defeated Goliath and in the lineage of Jesus. He was a man of many different accomplishments. He also committed adultery and murder. He was imperfect but that didn't change the fact that He was called by God. God knew you'd fall short, and He knew you'd be imperfect. That doesn't change the fact God has called you for something amazing. Your calling is important. You can accomplish a lot of things. Today, don't think that your calling is gone because you've fell short and sinned. God knew each of us would, that is why He sent Jesus. Just don't continue to sin knowing it is wrong, change your ways and let God use you for His kingdom. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’” Acts of the Apostles 13:22 ““For many are called, but few are chosen.”” Matthew 22:14 “God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.” 1 Thessalonians 4:7 “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23
