God's Approval Only Matters.

“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” Galatians‬ ‭1:10‬

 ‭Peoples approval amounts to nothing in this world, but God's approval amounts to everything. God doesn't care what anyone has to say about you. He doesn't ask for a resume, what anyone else thinks of you, or what they have said about you. Instead He cares about what you think of Him, and what He thinks about you. No one else in the world can change God's mind about you. One of the greatest things about God is He sees everything, even what we don't see about ourselves. We don't have to worry about what anyone says, we have to worry about what God says. Today, let go of the approval of others, and let God be the only approval that matters. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭ “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭ “For they loved human praise more than the praise of God.” John‬ ‭12:43‬ ‭ “All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:39‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
