His Plans Are Better!

 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Let God create the life that you dream of for you, what God has for you is so much bigger and better than what you can ever even imagine. His plans are so good. We have to learn to not try and take things into your own hands and create the dreams you think that you want. Whatever God has for you is so much better than you could ever do for yourself. You cannot even begin to do something great as what He has for you. His plans will always be better than yours. Today, let go of the plans you have for yourself and let God's plans be the story for your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭ “May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭ “But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:11‬ ‭ ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
