See It Clearly!

“But my covenant will be confirmed with Isaac, who will be born to you and Sarah about this time next year.””Genesis‬ ‭17:21‬ ‭

In mine and my husband's Bible study tonight we read in Genesis. We read about how God spoke to Abraham at ninety-nine and told him he would become a father to a son by that time next year. See Abraham in his human sign could not see that happen, but God knew that it would. We all know the story continues to tell that it was true in the next year God blessed him with Issac. See we tend to let our human sight cloud our faith sight. In our human eyes often times things seem so impossible, but in our faith sight we know it is more than possible for God to do anything we need. If God spoke a promise over your life don't let the human view change your faith view. In the next year that promise from God could easily come to pass. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” Matthew‬ ‭21:21 “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”” Matthew‬ ‭19:26‬ ‭ “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
