Speak Faith While You Wait!

“I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.” Psalms‬ ‭130:5‬ ‭

We all have hopes and dreams for something bigger, something we are waiting for patiently that we know God will do for us. In the waiting we prove our faith to God. We also prove that we can be faithful when we cannot see the promise yet. I remember a time in my life where I dreamed of the life I am currently living, I would pray everyday for it. I would wait patiently but speak that it was coming. I would feel the Holy Ghost when I would think of it and knew it would someday come. It did, but there were a lot of trials in-between there and now. There were times I spoke faith until I could feel it. Today, speak by faith even when you cannot feel it coming, God has a beautiful plan for your life and the life you're dreaming of will come. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1 “But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)” Romans‬ ‭8:25‬ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭ “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
