Stay Quiet, Let God Speak!
“Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent. Interlude” Psalms 4:4
Sometimes staying silent is the best thing we can do. When we stay quiet around others we are letting God speak instead. It's easy to speak out with anger and frustration, what is more difficult is staying quiet and letting God take care of what you can't. You don't always have to speak with your anger, you can choose to let God talk for you. Not everything in life needs to be answered, sometimes you just need to sit back and let God work in your life and that be enough of an answer. Today, let God speak. Stay silent. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even-tempered.” Proverbs 17:27 “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Isaiah 54:17 “Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.” Ecclesiastes 10:12 “Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.” Proverbs 10:19
