The Acts Of Faith Work.

““Grab it,” Elisha said. And the man reached out and grabbed it.” 2 Kings‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭

We recently had two peacocks hatch out of our incubator. We was so excited. About 4 to 5 days passed, I went outside late one night to water them and I didn't shut the pen good. One got out and we couldn't find it. We done what second Kings taught about. The verses tell about how one day the group of prophets and Elisha went to the Jordan River, where they were going to build a new place for them to meet at. When they arrived they began to cut down the trees. The ax head fell into the River, and one of them said, oh sir, it was a borrowed ax. Elisha asked where did it fall, they showed him. Elisha cut a stick and threw it in the water at that spot, then the ax head floated to the surface, Elisha told them to grab it and the man reached out and did so. The stick didn't save it. The act of faith that God would bring it back did. I had prayed. He was gone for 32 hours. I assumed there was no way we would ever find him. Either a predator or the rain had gotten him. He didn't have food, water or a heat lamp. After 32 hours our neighbors who didn't even know he was missing called to ask if they had found one of our peacocks. It was him, Peter is what we had named Him. He was safe, and healthy. The stick did not bring him back, God did. When we show God we have faith even when our circumstances look rough it shows God we really do believe in Him. Today, if you've lost something try the act of faith, in any situation show acts of faith. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But as one of them was cutting a tree, his ax head fell into the river. “Oh, sir!” he cried. “It was a borrowed ax!”” 2 Kings‬ ‭6:5 ““Where did it fall?” the man of God asked. When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. Then the ax head floated to the surface.” 2 Kings‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭ “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭
