Step Of Faith!

“It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:7‬  ‭Faith is often the first step into every miracle. We often expect God to do it all while we sit back and wait for it. Sometimes the miracle requires an act of faith. We have to come to the conclusion that sometimes we have to do our part and God will do the rest. God will not do everything for us, but He will meet us where we are. We have to be willing to take steps of faith in order to receive what we are praying for. I had a time in my life where I was praying for a miracle. I had to take a leap of faith praying God would meet me in the middle, and He done just that. He met me in the midst of my faith and healed me! I knew He could do it, but I had to choose to live by faith that He would be there when I...

Don't Force It!

“I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.”” Psalms‬ ‭40:8‬ ‭ Sometimes we try to jump ahead of God and choose what we think is best for ourselves. We force things to be the way that we want them to be even if it isn't what God has for us. We often try to convince ourselves that people, places and situations are best for us even after God has shown us that it isn't. We have to come to a place in our lives where we let go of what we think is best and let God have His will in our lives. We will never become all that we can be if we constantly hold on to things that aren't meant for us. I think of Jesus in the garden praying, He did not want to go through with the pain that was to come, but He knew it was something that would change everything. Instead of choosing what His flesh wanted, He chose to pray and let God have His way! We have to do that everyday with every circumstance. Today, ask God to have His way in your life, even if ...

Let Your Life Be The Proof.

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭ We should pray that our lives are a refection of the love of Jesus. When we choose to be kind in circumstances that others would be rude in, smile at strangers, be friend the lonely, encourage the people who are down and out, invite others to church or Bible study, show others the same kindness and forgiveness Jesus has showed you. When we do these things it lets the light of Jesus to shine through us. Others are in need of someone like Jesus a lot of times, and as Christians we are called to be Christ like. The best kind of person we could ever be is a Christ like person towards others. We can show others the reason we worship Jesus, the freedom we have found in His forgiveness. Today, when you're living your everyday life don't forget to be the kind of person Je...

The World Doesn't Love You!

“The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” John‬ ‭15:19‬ The enemy will try to convince you that the world loves you, that people are more accepting when you're in sin. That the world finds you different due to being a Christian and living right. The enemy wants to convince us that the world loves us so much that we will choose sin rather than Jesus to simply be accepted. If the enemy can convince us that we need to be accepted by others then he can convince us that being righteous is something others judge us for. This world was going before you were ever born, just the same way that it is now and will after you're gone. Whether this world accepts you or not it will not change how the world spins or your eternity only God can do that. God is the only one who cares about you, as He formed you in your mother's womb. Today, keep away from trying to be accep...

Make Time For God!

“Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭16:11‬ Jesus should never be just apart of your life, He should be our entire life. I was thinking today about all the ways we can include God in our lives if we choose to. We can listen to worship music going down the road, talk about Him in conversations throughout the day, watch online preaching videos while going to sleep, read our Bible's instead of scrolling on social media, and pray in all our spare moments. We can make time for the things that we want, that includes a relationship with God. Are you making time in your day for Him? Including God in the small things is something that should happen everyday not just once in a while. Today, choose to include God in every little detail. Make time for Him even when you think you don't have time. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right...

Growing In Difficult Places.

“Its roots grow down through a pile of stones; it takes hold on a bed of rocks.” Job‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭ ‭I was walking outside tonight and seen a flower growing through the gravel I immediately thought of this verse. We tend to say that we cannot grow in a difficult season, but sometimes the prettiest things come from the hardest places to grow. See there were a million flowers in the grass, but what caught my eye was the flower in the rocks. It grew in a difficult place and that made it even more beautiful. We have things we each go through, but sometimes it makes us better people, better Christians or just more beautiful. Today, know that you've grown or will grow even in the most difficult places. God has the perfect plan for our lives. He can help us become all we need to be despite the enemy trying to pull us down. The Bible says He takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it for good. He will make you grow anywhere you are. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Even the wild...

He Heard You The First Time.

“The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.” Psalms‬ ‭34:15‬ ‭ I think of a story in the Bible of Abraham and Sarah, they were praying for a child. God spoke to them and told them within one year they would have a child. Sarah laughed as they both were old. In one year they did have the promised child. See the first time they prayed God heard them and answered them unknowingly. Just because you don't see things changing doesn't mean that God hasn't already answered you. See we tend to look at things now, when we pray and don't see God change things immediately we feel forgotten, that He didn't hear our prayers. Have you ever thought about how God could have answered you immediately but you haven't seen the results of the prayer yet? Today, when you pray speak by faith that it has already been answered. That God answered you the moment you spoke the words in prayer and watch how your life changes for the better....

You Are Not Forgotten!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ Just because you think that God has forgotten you doesn't mean that He has. Often when someone tells us something like this we think wow their life must be perfect to say something like that. I can say that isn't how it is for me, I have been in deep prayer for God to answer something in my life. I felt God speak that in one week He would give me a word. A week came and went with no word, I went to someone I trust as a Spiritual Mentor, and they told me this. "God will give you three separate answers in life yes, no or no answer at all meaning be still and wait." Now that third one of waiting is never what we want. We do not like to be patient most of the time, we want what we are praying for immediately, and most of the time that just cannot be how life is. I have found that even if I hate having to wait for something, the waiting is when I have the most faith....

Growing Where You Are!

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭ A lot of times we aren't where we want to be, but we have to learn to be patient and faithful where we are. Here is how I think about it, I think about how a plant grows where it is placed, once the plant has grown it then has seeds that grow from it. Those seeds then can be placed at different locations and grow there. Where you are doesn't mean you're stuck there, sometimes it's a place for you to grow and then be moved somewhere else to grow at. You're growing where you are but that doesn't mean it's forever. Learn to be patient where you are and trust that God has somewhere better for you someday. The Bible teaches us to be faithful in small things to show God we also can be in large things. Where you are now is either a lesson or a place that you grew and God placed you at for blessings. The best is always yet...

It's Sunday!

“And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.” Matthew‬ ‭28:9‬ ‭ Early Sunday morning as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to visit the tomb where Jesus was. Suddenly there was an earthquake, an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven and rolled the stone away. His face shined like lightening, and His clothes were white as snow. The guards that had been placed shook with fear. The angel spoke and told them, don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus but He isn't here. He has risen, just as He had said He would! Come and see where He was! The angel instructed them to go see the disciples and to tell them that Jesus had risen. The women ran, they were scared but also full of joy! As they went to tell the disciples Jesus met them, they ran to Him and grasped His feet and worshiped Him! Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee and ...

It's Saturday.

“From heaven you sentenced your enemies; the earth trembled and stood silent before you.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭76:8‬ ‭‭ Saturday is here. It was the Sabbath, the leading priests and Pharisees went to see Pilate. They told him that they remembered a deceiver once that said Jesus had said after three days He would raise to life again. They then requested that the tomb be sealed until the third day. That way the disciples wouldn't be able to come and steal Jesus away and tell everyone He was risen. Pilate allowed the guards to go and secure it the best that they could, and they sealed the tomb off and guards stood watch to protect it. Saturday was silent, everyone thought the enemy had won the battle. Jesus was gone, the wicked world had won. They couldn't see any hope in tomorrow because for today nothing seemed to be happening. Today, it might be a Saturday in your life, silent and seems hopeless but just know Sunday is still coming. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Pilate replie...

It's Friday!

“This all happened on Friday, the day of preparation, the day before the Sabbath. As evening approached,” Mark‬ ‭15:42‬ ‭ In the early hours of our Friday as we compare it to as we speak about Holy Week. Judas had given them the signal to show them which one Jesus was by greeting Jesus with a kiss. When Judas done so Jesus told him, "My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for." Then they arrested Him. They pulled out a sword on Jesus, and He told them to put it away. He said, "Don't you realize I could ask My Father for thousands of angels to protect us and He would send them instantly? But if I did how would the Scriptures be fulfilled to describe what must happen now?" Then all the disciples deserted Him and fled. Jesus later on was brought before the highest priest, Peter followed at a distance watching from the crowd. The entire council was waiting to see who would lie about Jesus so they would have a reason to punish Him. They decided to send Jesus t...

It's Thursday.

“Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him.” Luke‬ ‭22:43‬ ‭ Today of Holy Week was the last supper. Jesus had sent Peter and John to get the meal prepared. Jesus told them a prophecy of where the last supper would happen, and someone that would welcome them into their home. All came to pass as Jesus had said. Later on they sat down to eat. They broke bread and done communion together. Jesus said there is one friend among us that will betray me. Peter said that He would do anything for Jesus and Jesus told Him that before the rooster crows tomorrow morning he would deny Him three times that he even knew Jesus. Later on after the supper Jesus went to the Mount of Olives to pray. Jesus prayed "Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine." Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened Jesus! This goes to show us that Jesus knew in His flesh He didn't want to have to go through the p...

It's Wednesday!

“Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests” Matthew‬ ‭26:14‬ ‭ Today of Holy Week is Wednesday. Wednesday is the representation of the day that Judas betrayed Jesus. Judas went to the leading priest and asked them how much they would pay him to betray Jesus to them. They then gave him thirty pieces of silver. From that time on Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus. The equivalent to thirty pieces of silver in USD today would be about $600. Judas wasn't just someone who met Jesus a few times, he was a disciple. Someone Jesus chose to walk with Him everyday, Someone Jesus trusted, and Judas still betrayed Him. We each have had someone betray us, and it hurts. I assume Jesus was hurt by the betrayal. Today, remind yourself that not everyone you choose to be in your inner circle is really for you, even Jesus had a Judas. We have to learn to forgive, just as Jesus forgives us. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “and asked, “How...

It's Tuesday.

“When Jesus returned to the Temple and began teaching, the leading priests and elders came up to him. They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”” Matthew‬ ‭21:23‬ ‭ I realized today I got a little ahead of myself and added what happened on today for Holy Week in yesterday's blog. Today in Holy Week, Jesus was teaching and preaching in the Temple. The elders and priest asked Jesus by what authority does He do these things. Jesus told them if they could answer one question He would tell them. He asked them did John the Baptist come from heaven or was it merely human? They talked it over with themselves and told Jesus they didn't know. Jesus gave them no answer. Although they tried to challenge Jesus He knew what authority He was sent by, and the plan for Him. He knew that the time was coming for Him to do all these things, but also to save humanity from sin. Today, don't be like the elders and the priest, don't question God...

It's Monday!

“You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”” Matthew‬ ‭21:22‬ ‭ Today in the Holy Week is Monday. The morning after Palm Sunday came, Jesus was hungry and passed by a fig tree. He went over to the fig tree to see if it had any figs, but it only had leaves. Jesus then said to it, "May you never bear fruit again." Immediately, the fig tree withered up. The disciples questioned how the fig tree withered up so quickly, Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith you will receive it." That was a lesson for all of us to speak things by faith, by the name of Jesus and to pray over things. We have to speak with faith. Jesus went to the temple also on the day after Palm Sunday. He went into the Temple and began t...

Speak With Boldness!

“Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭ We need to talk about God so much that people say man they are that person that never hushes about God. We often times associate God with an embarrassing topic. That we sometimes avoid out of fear of offending someone. I have come to the conclusion that me being open and forward with my faith is often times the only time in one persons life that they hear about Christ. What if you being bold is what helps save a lost soul? What if the fear is the enemy wanting to hold you back from helping that person find God. Today, be bold. Be honest and open with others. Bringing God up anytime you get a chance. You could be called for such a time as this. That lost soul needs you! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.”Ephesians‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭ “So we can sa...

In The Silence, He Is Working!

“And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭ You need to take time to rest and believe that God already has it taken care of. I am guilty of overthinking myself, but at times I have to come to a place where I fully trust God and His plan for my life. When I come to the place of fully trusting God with my problems I have to let go. In those moments of letting go I have to take that time to rest and know that if I prayed, then God heard me and already is at work for me. We as humans tend to mistake God's silence as that He didn't hear us. When often times His silence is Him at work for us. Today, think of how the silence you're hearing could be God working. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.” Psalms‬ ‭65:2‬ ‭ “In those days when you pray, I will listen.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:12‬  ‭ ““And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive ...

God’s Got It Figured Out!

““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ God never asked us to figure everything out, He us to trust that He already has. There are so many stories in the Bible that show us that having faith even when we don't see things happening yet doesn't mean the miracle isn't coming. Here are just a few examples, Jesus feeding the five thousand. They were all hungry and only had two loaves and five fish. Jesus' first miracle when He turned the water into wine. They seen things as empty, nothing to fill it with. God seen it as an opportunity to show His power. When we see things as empty, broken, over, or maybe even just silent God sees an opportunity to show His power! Today, let God work in your life! He has it all figured out! He knows what is best for us! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your wa...

God Is Opening The Door!

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬  ‭God is about to open the door, and when He does no hater, no man, no enemy, I mean nothing can shut it! God doesn't ask for anyone's approval to bless you! When God prepares us for things He doesn't wonder how anyone will feel about it, He doesn't need to know what they even think about it. God's blessings are not dependent on what anyone says about you or your situations. God doesn't look for the approval of man for the blessings He gives. Think of the story of the woman they were trying to stone due to her sins. Jesus never asked the crowd if they thought she deserved His grace and forgiveness. Instead, He gave it freely. What God is about to do for you isn't dependent on what anyone on this earth thinks or says. God is going to open up doors that you thought have been closed for years, doors y...

There Is Hope!

“Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert.” Psalms‬ ‭126:4‬ ‭ There is hope in the hopeless. Whatever situation you are facing that looks as though there is no hope God can change in a matter of seconds. We look at things as finalized, over with and done for. God looks at things as a place where His power can show, His miracles can overcome and His glory can shine. You cannot look at things as over when God can restore. The entire world was formed by God's voice, that means whatever you need done or fixed God can do with His words. His power is stronger than anything we could ever understand, but it's something we can experience each day if we allow Him to work in our lives. Today, ask God how you can allow Him to uses those situations in your life for the good, He knows what you need but sometimes He is waiting for you to give up your own will for Him to speak life into the situation. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I have suffered much, O Lord; resto...

God Can Change It All!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ When we look at things from our own point of view we see them as things that cannot be changed and cannot be undone. We tend to see it as a finished product, where the period is. We tend to look at life's circumstances from a human point of view but we tend to forget that God has the final say. Things can look like they could never workout and out of no where God steps in. When God steps in and changes it all! He doesn't see it as a period, instead He sees it as a comma, or even a cliff hanger. He sees it as something that can easily be fix or changed. Today, ask God to step in. What you can't do. God can do! He doesn't see things the way that you do, but instead in His ways that He can do anything. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke y...

Talk To God In Prayer.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ The best thing we can do in any situation is to pray. Lately I have been going through some things and I have caught myself sitting and talking to God as if He was sitting infant of me like a best friend. I have grown in this season although it has caused me pain in ways. I don't understand why things happen the way that they do, but I can trust that God is using it for my good at the end of the day. Nothing we go through in life is wasted. We have to trust that there is a bigger plan. The best way to gain that trust is to talk to God, explain the things you're fearful of to Him, let Him open doors for you and let Him use situations to uplift you. Today, if you're having a hard time communicating with God try talking to Him like He is your best friend. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, ...

God Prepares You!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ Today makes my 1,200 blog. Looking back when I started this I never knew it would become such an impact on me as a person. I wouldn’t care if only one person viewed these daily I would write them anyways. Everyday God shows me something to write about and to speak about. I know this is apart of a calling in my life as I continue to write these. This is something so obvious that God wants me to do. I have told this before but i will again. Back in seventh grade I struggling in English, I was the only kid in my class that needed a tutor. My parents got me a tutor like I needed, each time we had English class I go alone out of the classroom so the tutor could teach me one on one it was embarrassing at that time because I was the only kid that needed it. It ended up that I now write these blogs so that goes to show that God has a plan fo...

God’s Promise Will happen.

“The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.” Genesis‬ ‭21:1‬ ‭ Nothing God has for you will ever be out of reach. Looking at life from our human flesh point of view we often see things as something impossible, something that will not change. That is not how God works. If God wants to bless you He can pick up a mountain and move it away. If God wants you to have something there is no doubt you will have it. I’ve often questioned if things that we do can stop God’s will for our lives, but that isn’t the case. We can get on the wrong track, we can even try and make things happen on our own but what God has for you will still come. I can finally Biblically back that up by the revelation of God’s word He has told me. Think of the story of Abraham and Sarah. They wanted to have children to badly, they were old. God came and spoke to them that they would have children and Abraham would be the father to many. They both became impatient which is how he had Ishmael. I...

God Provides!

“He is a merciful creditor, not keeping the items given as security by poor debtors. He does not rob the poor but instead gives food to the hungry and provides clothes for the needy.” Ezekiel‬ ‭18:7‬ ‭ God provides for every aspect of our lives. There have been things we have wanted and had to do without, but have you ever noticed that God always provides the things that we need. He gives us those things and expects nothing in return. He knows the things, we need and gives us them. He doesn't expect anything in return but common sense tells us that we should thank Him, and be grateful for it. Today, remind yourself to thank God for the things that you needed and He blessed you with. Thank Him for never letting you go without the things you need. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Give us today the food we need,” Matthew‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭ “We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:24‬ ‭ “Now we understand t...

Stop Questioning, Start Having Faith!

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭ Don't worry about the how, why, if, where or when just trust that God will do it. Nothing you do or say can change the timing of God's plan. We often want things to happen right now, but sometimes it's not the right timing. God knows when, how, where and what is best for us. He doesn't ask for our advice in making things happen in our lives. Instead, He does things on the timing that He knows is best, the plans He has prepared for us long ago, and He always has something good for us. Today, stop questioning God's plan and start praying for it. Whatever His plan is you can count on it being good. All good things come from God. The Bible tells us that when He gives us something He adds no sorrow with it. Whatever God has for you will be great, and nothing bad will come with it. Stop questioning everything and start having faith! Here are some ver...

My God Did Not Fail!

“Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”” Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭ My God did not fail. I look at my life a year ago from yesterday, April 1st, I was praying for a miracle. I woke up that morning not knowing that day I would experience a miracle in my life. God freed me from anxiety. I will eventually tell my whole testimony but for now I will tell that only God can do it. I am free, I am not forgotten. If you're praying for a miracle do not get discouraged. You will overcome, God will do what you're praying for. God is still in the miracle working business. Today, start speaking with faith that the miracle will come. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't coming. I never seen the miracle happening then, but God done it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahe...

God Never Gives Up On Us!

“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ God never gives up on us. I was raised in church, growing up people would say that they had back slid, which meant they had gotten out of church and knew they weren't living right. Most of us have had a time in our lives that we back slid. We knew we weren't living right, we were living in sin even and knew we had to find our way back to God. I myself was there at one point and I knew that I need to find God again. I went through a difficult time and found God to be the only source of peace to bring me through it. He never gave up on me. He knew that I would come back. He never stopped speaking to me, instead He sent me people that would be honest and tell me that I needed to grow closer to Him. God will speak to us if we are willing to listen. Today, draw near to God and He will come close to you. Turn away ...

Don't Worry, God Will Provide!

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭ The verse this is based on is one of my favorite verses ever. Let's break the verse down. The start says, "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength." When we trust in God we gain strength, knowing that He has all things taken care of and will provide for us. The next part says, "They will soar high on wings like eagles." We will soar higher than our enemies, those who come against us is how I take this part is that they cannot reach us. The next part goes on to say, "They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." We will be everything mentally and physically we need to be because we get our strength, hope and help from God. We will never want for things we need, because God will provide. This verse is something we can live by everyday. You ca...
