You’re Never Forgotten!

“The Lord will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession.” Psalms‬ ‭94:14‬ ‭ Anytime you doubt that God has forgotten, think of the people in the Bible who were in situations where doubt could or did creep in but God came through. Think of Daniel, he was in a den of lions, the Hebrew boys in a fiery furnace, Joshua and the battle of Jericho, Job, and all his trials, Esther having to stand up to the king to save the Jews, and so many others. Doubting things is a part of being human, it's just something that happens, but choosing to believe without seeing it happen proves to God you have true faith in His plan. If God came through for them, then He will come through for you too. There is no reason to let your flesh take away the joy and hope for what you know God is going to do for you. Today, focus on that faith, hope, joy, and peace that you know is from God and He will come through for you. Nothing in this life ever goes past God, He has not and will never ...

Never Too Far Gone.

““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?” Matthew‬ ‭18:12‬ ‭ There is one thing you can count on and that is that God will never think you are too far gone. The Bible tells us that He will leave the 99 to find the one that wandered away, it also says that heaven will rejoice over one soul. We are never too far into the sin, we are never too far when running from God, and most of all we are never too far in the midst of where we are to come back home to God. We each will eventually come to a place where we realize that the only place we have and will ever feel at home and at peace is in God's presence. If you've been running from your calling in God that you know you have now is the time to come home, now is the time to go after that calling. Start asking God to open doors for you to walk into that and while you're waiting for the door to ope...

Listen To His Voice.

“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James‬ ‭1:22‬‬  ‭Sometimes we are hearing but not listening to what God has to say. As a human we all sometimes have selective hearing, sometimes God is telling us something and it's not what we quite want so we brush it off as is that really God speaking? I've had times, even about writing blogs where I felt it might step on some toes, so I didn't want to write what I knew God was telling me. We must humble ourselves to God and do as He wants us to. One of the hardest things to do is to walk out on faith with one word, but it shows how much we are truly tuning into the voice of God. You have to tune out the world so much to the point that when God speaks you ignore those doubtful thoughts and do just as He has said to do. Today, if you have something you know God is telling you to do, walk out on faith and don't let the doubt run your life. You will never go wro...

The Shelter We Search For.

“for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!” Psalms‬ ‭95:7‬ ‭ Instinct tells us when it's raining to find a shelter not just stand in it all day, the same goes for life we each want that peace and comfort of a shelter, a home spiritually. We each can find that in Jesus. He is the creator of not only the whole world and all things, but He is also the one who created us. He is the shelter we each seek for. He is the one place we can always call home, no matter what emotion we might feel He is the peace in every storm, He is the shelter in the rain, and the reason for everything. Today, if you are searching for peace, contentment, protection or anything know that it can be found in once place and that is God. He can give you peace, contentment, joy hope, and all good things. He is the true purpose in our lives. He is the shelter you can seek for your entire life or choose to surrender your sins and all t...

His Promise Is Faithful.

“He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” Romans‬ ‭4:21‬ ‭ Taking someone at their word is sometimes difficult because we have doubts as humans, but there is someone you can always trust, God. His word is faithful and true. Next time the doubt creeps in and you begin to question if God has forgotten you remind yourself that God does not and cannot lie. Nothing God has ever promised you will go unseen, His promises are forever. If you're wondering what His promises are for you ask Him to reveal one. God doesn't speak to everyone in the same way. Sometimes God uses someone else to speak to you, He speaks to you Himself, He sends a sign to you, or a million other ways. It doesn't matter how you find out His promise for you what matters is that you have enough faith to keep believing it will happen. Today, hold on to that hope because that promise is so close, you have no idea how amazing God is about to make your life. Here are some verses to reflec...

Who You Marry Matters!

“and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one,” Mark‬ ‭10:8‬ ‭ I read the book of Ruth recently, and as you get to the end it reads off her lineage. It goes on to show her great-grandson was King David. People will tell you it doesn't matter who you marry and have kids with but it does matter. Ruth' husband had passed away, but she was loyal and kind to her mother-in-law and stayed by her side, She met Boaz and they got married. Now she could have said no to her mother-in-law's wishes to go for Boaz but she was faithful. Sometimes God sends people to help you connect with who you are meant to be with. You can chase someone, date, and even marry someone who is not meant for you but your life will suffer from that wrong choice. I've always heard you cannot choose who you love and while that is true you can choose who you build a family and life with. Never settle for less than what God has for you. Today, remind yourself that it does matter to Go...

Your Prayer Life Matters.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Start your day off in prayer. When we start and finish our day with God it shows we put effort into our relationship with Him. When you effort for your relationship with God He notices and is so proud. When you want to see a change in your life you have to start with praying. The Bible teaches that how we shouldn't have idols in our lives, and with technology today we are all guilty of waking up and getting on our phones, but we first should pray. We are so quick to put everything ahead of God instead of spending time in prayer. It's easy to get distracted but not worth your relationship with God. Today, spend more time in prayer and block out all distractions, God is waiting for you to talk to him. Your prayer life matters. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ “Pray in the Spirit at ...

God Has This, No Need To Worry!

““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭ If there is something that you're worried about let go of it. God is in full control and worrying is not going to change anything, but prayer can change it all. God has got everything you could ever worry about under control. The Bible says today's worries are enough, tomorrow will have its own worries. There is nothing that God cannot take care of. If you look back on your life there have been so many times that you've worried about things, and God has taken care of them at the perfect time. There never comes a moment where God has forgotten you or will ever forget you. Today, let go of anything that is worrying you and trust in God to take care of it. God has everything under control and He will work all of it out for your good. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can unders...

Forgiveness Starts With You.

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭ The story of Joesph is so sad, his own family sold him out of jealousy. They were so upset that his father was close to him that they lied to their father and said he died. At the end of the story, Joesph forgives them and shows them kindness. He chose to forgive although he had been hurt. It's easy to say things like you will forgive someone but putting yourself in a position to choose forgiveness over hurt. It's easy to say you can forgive someone but when you're hurt it's like a temptation to hold onto that anger towards them. It's easier to just let go, forgive and forget. Today, stop holding on to any anger or resisentment you have towards anyone and forgive them. Forgiveness begins with you and keeps you from carrying the baggage of the resisentment towards that person. The Bible says we have to forgive to be forgiven. Forgive...

Start Believing.

“The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!” Luke‬ ‭17:6‬ ‭ Every day is a possibility for a miracle. The bridge between where you are and your miracle is your amount of faith. This verse teaches us that a tiny amount of faith is enough to move a mountain, a mustard seed is so tiny if you've ever seen one. All it takes is the tiniest amount of faith to get what you're praying for. The Bible says to ask whatever you need in His name. Try asking God for your miracle with faith that He will do it, use the name of Jesus Christ in the prayer, and be certain that it is something you believe to happen. God cannot answer prayers for you if you're unwilling to believe. It's like this if someone says hand me twenty dollars and I will give you forty, if you don't trust that person you won't give them what you have to gain more, but if you ...

He Loves You, Unconditionally.

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ God's love is not conditional on what you think, do, or say. God's love is not based on what humans are. There is nothing you can do to make God stop loving you. Let's think of the story of Jesus was beaten and killed, He still said, "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do." Imagine loving others so much that you ask forgiveness for what they're doing to you. That's exactly how much He loves you! God isn't worried about what you've done in your past, He just wants you to open up to Him and let Him love you the same way. You are forgiven there is nothing in your past that God cannot love you because of. God's love is unconditional and so is His forgiveness.  Today, remind yourself that Jesus loves you so much. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But God showed his g...

Show His Kindness.

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭ Leave a sprinkle of Jesus wherever you go, you can leave others with Jesus on their mind by the way you act and the way you speak. You are a walking example of God's love and grace. You can be the person who shows the unconditional love of Jesus to those around you and those you meet. You never know the battles someone is facing that they don't talk about, be like Jesus and be kind and loving to everyone. Sometimes we have a bad day, where we just want to cry, on those days kindness means so much and brightens our lives, be that bright light of kindness to everyone everyday. You can help others by being like Jesus. Today, ask yourself what would Jesus do and how would He treat those around you and those you meet? That is how you should treat them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop t...

The Most Perfect Timing.

“The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”” Isaiah‬ ‭60:22‬ ‭ This verse tells us that God will make it happen at the right time, not when we want it to happen or when we think it should. You have to stop thinking things will happen when you think they should. God doesn't work on your time schedule. God works things out when He knows that it is best for things to open up for you. We mostly think that God is taking forever to make things happen, but in reality, He makes things perfect before He makes them happen. Think of the story of Esther, God appointed her as queen at the perfect time to save the Jews. She was called and became queen at the most perfect time to be used by God to save His people. Never think that God has forgotten you just because He is taking longer than what you thought or expected Him to. His timing is perfect. Today, focus on what is to come knowi...

Promises Are Forever.

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ Your life will change when you begin to depend on the promises of God you will never be let down. God's promises are forever, you will never be  let down when you leave the promises up to God. Each of us has a promise over our lives, sometimes God speaks the promise to us other times God speaks it through someone else, and sometimes we just don't know the promise until it comes to pass. God will reveal it to you in time in one way or another. God has a promise for each of us throughout the Bible we see the promises He had for each person and we see that He never failed to bring those promises pass. He will do the same in your life, you never have to doubt when God is in control. Today, remind yourself that God never forgets or backdown on His promises for you. Here are some verses to reflect on today.  “He was fully co...

Mind On The Kingdom.

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ God put that dream in your heart for a reason. When you dream about something that will help the Kingdom of God, that is a dream from God. The Bible says that all good and perfect gifts come from above. When you dream of a ministry, helping those you know need to find Christ, and being a vessel for God, God is working through you to accomplish those things. When dreams come into your mind that are for the greater good and will help others that is most likely God. You just have to come to a place where you train yourself to have your mind on things above instead of things of this earth. When you're busy focused on things above you don't waste your dreams on fame, money, or earthly treasures instead you are focused on the things you can bring to heav...

Humble Yourself Before God.

“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭ God doesn't expect us to come to Him with perfection and having everything all together but He does expect us to come to Him with a humble spirit. You cannot come to God with an attitude or demand something. Just like with anyone if you make a mistake you are not in the place to make commands instead you ask for forgiveness which is what we should do with God. When you come to God and you're ready to give your heart to Him you have to get off your high horse and humble yourself before Him. As humans, we are going to make mistakes and that is just a part of life but how we react when we realize we have messed up is what matters. Never let the enemy make you think that living in sin is okay. When you find a relationship with God you want to change the Holy Spirit will show you the things in your life that you didn't notice were sins before and you will wa...

Don't Limit God.

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭ Never limit God with your human expectations and mind. What we see as impossible God sees a million ways for something to be fixed and restored. God doesn't think the way we do, He knows all and sees all. No one in this world could ever know the full plan of God. We might understand some parts of God and His word but never fully know His plans. If you limit God with your expectations you're limiting your own blessings. Your expectation of God is the amount of faith you have in God to do the impossible in your life. When you begin to be single-minded you're only making your blessing less than it was ever meant to be. Today, know that God can and will do the impossible in your life. There is no reason to doubt when God is in control! Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““You don’t have enough ...

Don't Over-pack!

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭ Stop picking up the things you keep laying at God's feet. Taing your problems, emotions, and situations to God is one of the most helpful and best things we can do. The Bible says all who are weary and heavy burden come to Him and He will give you rest. When the load is too much for you take it to God, and let it go. Stop carrying baggage that you weren't meant to carry in the first place. Most of the time we hold onto things that we aren't meant to in the first place. Have you ever overpacked for a trip? I know I have! Carrying the unnecessary baggage is really not worth it, and in fact, makes the unloading and loading much harder. When you keep carrying baggage of things that you didn't have to in the first place. Today, make sure you're not over-packed and making the load heavier than it needs to be. Here are some verses to reflect on toda...

The Seasons Matter.

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ For the single people if a man is not after God's heart He is not meant to hold yours. If you're in a relationship, your focus should be on how you can better each other for your ministries uplift each other, and encourage each other. A relationship is more than taking pictures and posting them on social media, it's deeper than that. It's about using your relationship to show Christ's love through how we love each other. You have to ensure your relationship stays pure and set an example to others. If you're single use this season as a way to grow in Christ and find out what you need to do to spread the Gospel. Today, focus on whatever season you're in and make sure you are using it for the good. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But in my opinion it would be better for her to stay single, and I think I am giving you counsel from God’s Spirit when I say ...

The Light That Shines Within.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ Every day is an opportunity waiting for us to show the glory of God through us. I have learned over time that the most beautiful thing anyone can have is a soul after God. When you're busy chasing God you won't be as busy chasing things of the world. Where your heart is that is what shines through you. You cannot expect to fill yourself with the world and God to shine through. When you're filling yourself with things of this world, that is what others will see, but when you're filling yourself with the Holy Spirit, others will see Christ in you. There comes a time in our lives when we have to choose which is more important, what the world thinks or what God thinks. You cannot serve two masters. Today, remind yourself to choose God as the most important thing and let everyone see the light that shines within you. Let all see His light that shines within you. Here are some verses t...

God Doesn't Look On The Outside.

“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭4:12‬  ‭Just because you are young does not mean that you cannot step into your ministry. When God calls you He will also prepare you and will cause opportunities to find you. This verse shows me that God doesn't look at someone's age, He looks at your potential. Nothing about your age can stop you when you have a purpose in Christ Jesus. He looks at you and sees a million possibilities as to how He can use you. If you're young you could share the Gospel with people at school, at the park or anywhere you meet friends, if you're older you have a million ways to share with others at work, college, social events, or anywhere else you meet others. God will cause lost souls to find you. He will use those who need help with guidance to God to find you. Today, don't let anyone tell you that y...

No Favorites.

“Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.” ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭10:34‬ ‭ Have you ever looked at someone else's life and thought Man are they blessed with such good things? In today's world, we have social media, television, and so many other ways to see things and we realize that sometimes others get the exact thing we are praying for. Have you ever had to wait for something you desperately need? Think of Sarah and Abraham they prayed for a child and they eventually had the child that God had promised them. I'm sure Sarah felt forgotten, and maybe even got to a place where she felt like God had favorites. Sometimes we look at the way others are being blessed and feel as though God has favorites but the Bible shows us that He doesn't in this verse. He loves us all the same, He died for you the same way He died for me and every other person in this world. He loves every single person on this earth the same. Sometimes it's more about t...

Believe And It Will Happen.

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭ Have you ever thought that what is keeping you from your blessing is your lack of belief? Sometimes life makes us think that we don't deserve the blessings that are coming, or that they simply aren't coming at all. The Bible tells us that weeping may last for the night but joy comes in the morning. Don't let the darkness of the world make you think that the blessings won't come. Morning always comes, and God has something amazing for you. The best way to prepare for a blessing is to start with believing that it is coming. Faith is believing when you cannot see. Today, start with believing that the blessing is coming even though you see no sign of it yet. God doesn't forget any of His children, and He has not forgotten you. The Bible says He will never leave you or forsake you. That shows us that we are always on Hi...

Spend Time With God, Daily.

“Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭ When building a relationship with God, you must build your foundation on faith and His word. When we back up from spending time in the word we are missing the key to the foundation of the relationship with God. The world will tell you that reading your Bible every day isn't a necessity and that it's not something you have to do, but the Bible tells us that the Lord blesses those who read His word, listen to it, and obey it. You have to spend time with God to grow. You will never grow in God if you're constantly filling your mind with worldly things instead of things above. Today, make sure you're constantly working on the foundation of your relationship with God and that you're constantly working to better it. You will grow in your relationship with Him when you spend time in the word. Here are some verses to ref...

You Change For The Better.

“But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭ When you truly dedicate your life to God you no longer fit in where you used to. You might feel like an outsider to those you've been close with for years, but God will send you the right people to fit in with. When you find a true relationship with God you begin to change sometimes in ways you don't even notice. Your mind becomes clean and you start to focus more on things above than on earthly things, you begin to find out that your so-called friends aren't chasing after the things that you are, and you begin to see the beauty in everything knowing that you Father created it, you begin to forgive more easily because you want others to feel the same forgiveness you feel daily from God, you begin to see that God isn't looking at you as someone with a million mistakes...

Lord Lead The Way.

“Lead me in the right path, O Lord, or my enemies will conquer me. Make your way plain for me to follow.”Psalms‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭ When we come to a place in our lives where we have to decide, we often don't know which way to go. The best way to decide on something is to simply be still and do nothing until God speaks as to what He wants you to do. God will lead the way for you if you ask Him to. When in doubt pray it out. God will never leave you nor forsake you. The thing about God is He doesn't halfway lead you in life, He never leaves your side through every mistake or decision. You never have to worry when making decisions because God is by your side through it all awaiting to guide your every path. Let God lead the way, even when you cannot see, He still can. Today, remind yourself to leave everything in God's hands because He will lead you along the right path. Ask God to guide you through every small and large thing in life nothing is too big or too small for our God! Here ar...

Your Purpose Is Important!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ You were created for a purpose. Each of us at times feels as though we are born in the wrong generation, but the Bible says, you were born for such a time as this. You were born at the perfect time and for a purpose. God never creates us without a purpose, He has a reason for us being here. Your purpose might differ from someone else's, but it is just as important as the next person's. Each of our purposes is towards the same goal: saving souls. Your purpose is just as valuable as everyone else's. Today, remind yourself that at such a time as this, you have a purpose and God wants to use you for His Kingdom if you will let Him. Open your heart and life to Him and let Him show you what your purpose is to help save souls. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the go...

The Love You're Searching For.

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ The world tells us every day that we need love to be happy, but the truth is we need the love of Jesus. There isn't anyone in this entire world who will ever love you the way Jesus can. Jesus loves without measure, He loves us so purely and without reasoning. He loves us enough that He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins when He never sinned. He loved us enough to sacrifice His own Son so that we can live again with Him. When you're feeling unloved and unworthy remind yourself that the same God has seen every mistake you've made ever made and sees all your so-called flaws looks at you and loves every bit of you. Today, you must remind yourself that although you might need love to be happy, that love you seek is found in the One who created you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But Go...

Trust God's Opinion.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ Before you question why God removes some people from your life remind yourself that He hears conversations you don't, and sees things you can't. It's sometimes hard to let go of people we care about, but sometimes they're only meant to be in our lives for a season, not a lifetime. You must learn to trust God with who He wants in your life. One thing about Jesus is He will never forget to send the right people into your life, He had 12 close friends and even had one betray Him. He knows pain and He knows what it is like to have to let those you love go. Trust God when He shows you someone's true colors or simply removes them from your life. You can only cling to the wrong people for so long before God makes a decision and removes them for you. Today, learn to let go when God takes someone out of your life and take...
