Your Faith Is The Payment.

“For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”” Mark‬ ‭5:28‬ ‭ Anything you ask God for will be given, you have to remind yourself that your amount of faith matters. The amount of faith you have determines if that prayer will be answered. If what you're asking God for is based on your faith that He will do it, will that prayer be answered? I was prophesied over, those of you who don't know what that means it's a word from God through man, that often can be about your future. I was prophesied that I would be healed from something I was dealing with, and my faith would pay for that healing. That word came to me at a dark time, but I clung to it. When things didn't seem to get better I held on to that faith knowing it was my answer. In the same way, the woman in the Bible grabbed Jesus' robe knowing she would be healed, your faith is that payment. Today, make sure you have faith that God will do what you're praying for! God has never...

Blessing Or Lesson.

“If you repay good with evil, evil will never leave your house.” Proverbs‬ ‭17:13‬ ‭ Only some people want what's best for you! Sometimes we are lucky enough to find those who love us as much as we love them and always look out for us. Sometimes, people let jealousy, pride, and other things cause them to hurt them. We aren't always lucky when people come into our lives that things will end well with them. I heard a quote once that said, "Some people come into your life as a blessing, and others for a lesson." I have had people come and go from my life leaving pain that wasn't there before I met them, and I've also met people who have held those places and stuck by me. We cannot choose to do others the way they do us. When you meet someone there is no way to know how things will end with them. Someone once gave me advice that said, "You don't know someone until you know someone, and by then it's too late." We have a choice in life to be open t...

God Is Faithful!

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭ The definition of faithful in the Bible is, "steadfast loyalty that isn't easily swayed." We are so quick to judge someone based on a single story we have heard about them, the way they acted towards us once, or even their attitude. We have to think about how God looks at each of us in every aspect possible and yet still chooses not to leave us. God is so faithful, His loyalty is something you can forever count on. God doesn't grow weary of being there for us or believing in us. We fail Him every day, but He still chooses to forgive and love us as though we haven't. God's faithfulness is something I never have had to question. He never judges us by what we have heard about us, by what others say about us, and yet what He does see and know He chooses to forgive. Remind yourself today that God is faithful to you even when those around you might not be. Go...

From Struggle To Purpose.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ We oftentimes think that we are made to learn to fit into our purpose, but that is not true. Your purpose is meant for you, so therefore the purpose was made to fit you. The Bible says that God has planned for us long ago, we aren't thrown into a purpose without preparation. Everything in life you face the good and the bad is all for a bigger purpose in your life. Sometimes we have to face things to later be able to handle the purpose of our lives. I think a lot about how I struggled in school, I was in a small class of five people, and I had to get tutoring for grammar. I was humiliated because everyone saw I was struggling. Over the time of studying, I learned so much and got better grades. Up until I started writing blogs I never understood why I had to struggle, but it taught me more than I needed. I then knew how to form proper se...

Focus On God.

“Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ If we made sure that our eyes were fully focused on God, then we wouldn't be able to focus on anything else. We must remind ourselves that God is the most important thing to focus on. God is the center of everything in our lives; that is how it should be. Although God knows everything we have done throughout our day He still cares to listen to it. Throughout the day I often times find myself stopping to talk to God about something that happened, even though He already knew and saw it, I still choose to let Him know what I feel about it. Nothing would ever be unnoticed by God. When we choose to focus on God we choose to take time out of our day, every single day to include Him. We stop to pray before we eat, we spend time talking to God, spend time in prayer, and worship Him. When our eyes are set on God we are choosing to take time for Him out of our busy lives. Today, make sure your focus is on God and nothing else. I have learned wh...

Treat Others Good.

“Do to others as you would like them to do to you.” Luke‬ ‭6:31‬ ‭ We all have baggage we carry around. There was a quote I once read that said hurt people hurt people. How many times have you hurt someone after being hurt by someone else? We frequently don't let God heal what hurts us and instead take it out on others. You have to let God heal the baggage you are carrying around. The Bible teaches us to do to others as we want them to do to us. Although we have been hurt, doesn't mean we repay someone for how we have been treated. We should instead treat others the way we want to be treated in the first place. Everyone you know has been hurt by someone, but that doesn't mean they will hurt you. God can heal the things no one else knows about or sees. Today, let God heal your heart, soul, and mind. You don't have to hurt those around you to repay them for something they didn't do. Show love and kindness to everyone just like you want them to do to you. Here are some...

Act Of Kindness.

“I always thank my God when I pray for you, Philemon,”Philemon‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭ Acts of love and kindness doesn't always have to be a grand gesture that others can see. Often times an act of love is not something someone will even know about until you tell them. I have found that the most beautiful act of kindness or love someone has ever done for me is to pray for me without me asking or knowing. That is truly a great person. the Bible says it is more blessed to give than to receive. I have found that praying for someone without them knowing and watching doors open for them is so beautiful. Knowing God heard and answered your prayer for them is true joy. Today, when you pray, think of someone in your life that you can pray for. Pray for them everyday for thirty days and watch as God opens doors for them. That is a true act of kindness and love. Be the friend, spouse, family member or significant other that someone needs by praying for them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I hav...

Stop And Pray!

“Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ When we sit down for a meal we stop to pray, before a long road trip we stop to pray, before bed we stop to pray, when we wake up we stop to pray, and before church service ends we stop to pray. We often stop the things we seem so busy in life to get done to stop to pray. One of the most important things is to pray in all circumstances. Life is full of mountains, valleys, and all the in-betweens, but we can cling to the fact that we can stop to pray any moment we need. God doesn't forget to listen to our prayers or understand what we are feeling. He is compassionate towards us and wants daily communication with us. One of my favorite things to do is sit in my car in silence with worship music playing and just praise God for what He has done, and other times it's to pour my heart out of all the things I'm holding in. Today, stop and pray and worship God. You are loved and you are heard by God. Here are some verses to reflect on...

You Are Royalty.

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭ We all have heard the stories of Kings and Queens and the amazing lives they lived. They were royalty. Now as a girl growing up, we each dreamed of becoming a Princess and finding our Prince. We often forget that earthly treasures are worth absolutely nothing in eternity. To be royalty on earth means nothing, but to be royalty to our Father in Heaven, is everything. We have to remind ourselves that our earthly possessions mean nothing because the real things we should store up are those in Heaven. A relationship with God makes us royalty. You might not have all the things you want while here on the earth, but you have the most valuable thing when you choose to be a Christian, that being a true relationship with God. Today, keep in m...

Forgivness Not Perfection.

“They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”” John‬ ‭8:7‬ ‭ God chose you the same way He chose each person in the Bible. You can look throughout the Bible and notice that no one except for Jesus was perfect. He did not choose you to be perfect, He chose you to be able to forgive you when you're not perfect. There was not a single person that was perfect from the beginning of time. Even Adam and Eve the first humans failed God and fell into sin. You cannot expect yourself to be perfect knowing that God doesn't think you are and does not expect you to be. In the Bible, there is a story of Jesus, and He was in a crowd of people who wanted to stone a woman for being in the act of adultery. Jesus was perfect, He had never sinned. He then told the crowd that if any of them had never sinned to throw the first stone. No one in all of the crowd could do so knowing they themselves had sinned. Jesu...

Blocked For Better.

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭ Have you ever thought that the reason God blocked it is because better is coming? We've all had our eyes set on something or someone and it didn't work out, so therefore it left us crushed over not accomplishing what we so desperately wanted. Maybe that was a desire of your heart, but it could be that God has something better already prepared for you. I remember when I had in mind a car I wanted to get, I was set on getting that car. It would have been a lot of work to fix it the way I wanted but I didn't mind. It fell through, and I was so sad. That same day God opened a door for a nicer, more dependable, and all the details I wanted added on already for me. If I had settled that first car would not have lasted, but God blocked it so I could have what He wanted me to have. God doesn't block our plans out of revenge or to hurt us, it's quite the opposite. He blocks things because He knows...

Silence Is Not Forever.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ Do you ever feel like you're in the desert in your relationship with God? Sometimes our conversations with Him feel dry, like He doesn't even hear us. These times can go on for what feels like forever. In those moments we have to remind ourselves that the silence speaks louder than the words can. God's silence is not His absence. He is with you in the silent moments just as much as the times He speaks, and if He is with us that also means He hears us. Remind yourself that the silent moments are for God to work. In Genesis God only spoke when He was finished with what He created that day. Our faith is meant to be strong. Faith is believing without seeing. Today, when you see the clouds of silence, remind yourself that the sun will shine again and God will speak. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time t...

Do Your Best.

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭ Do your best and leave God the rest. There is only so much we as humans are capable of. This verse shows us that what we do is not by our own strength but by God's strength working through us. When we do the best that we know to do in life God's power will work through us. It's kind of amazing when you think that you're doing your best but it's through God's power that things work. If we try to do things without God it will never be enough, doing what we can and leaving the rest to God is always best. Doing your part is a lot of dedication, it's something you have to work at and trust that God will help you with, but there is one thing I have learned over time and that is God will never leave you hanging. He never once has forgotten you, and He will not start now. Today, do everything in your human power and let God work through you to do the rest. You are capable through ...

Wherever You Go.

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”” Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ Stop making it seem like God is confined to four walls. Often times people think that you can't find God anywhere except a Church, although you can. The Bible tells us that He is with us wherever we go. The enemy wants us to think that the four walls are the only place God can save us, heal us, and follow us. The truth is God can and will do any of that anywhere you are. When you're in your car listening to Christian music that is worship, when you're praying at your home that is still prayer, when the Holy Spirit comes over you anywhere, it is still the Holy Spirit. God is everywhere at the same time. Four walls cannot hold Him, as a grave couldn't. Stop undermining God. Remember that He is with you wherever you go, and His Spirit flows within you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Wherever you go and whatever you ...

Pray Before Speaking.

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭ Today's world evolves around social media, and we find out about events moments after they happen. When tragedy happens we are so quick to comment on posts saying we are praying but never physically or mentally do. I understand that God knows our thoughts and prayers, but it's good for us to do as we have said we would. Before speaking that you will pray make sure your actions align and that you will. Your prayer could be the one that reaches the throne at just the right time. God hears all of our prayers but it's good to be supported by other's in prayer. Today, make sure you're praying for others. Your prayer could change it all. Be quick to pray and slow to speak. Be the example of a praying Christian to all of those around you. The way you avoid saying you will pray and forgetting to is to pray before you make ...

Leap Of Faith.

“For we live by believing and not by seeing.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭ Today, as I got up God spoke to me to do something completely out of my comfort zone. He told me I would be okay and that this was all for a purpose the things I have faced and this is for a testimony I will tell of someday. As I went to do what He told me to do, He gave me a confirmation. I did exactly what He told me to do. Normally things would upset me, and make me panic but this time was different. I knew what He wanted me to do and I took a step of faith. That's how our everyday lives are. We are often afraid to lead by faith although we know that God will protect and guide us. You are His child, He will not ever forsake you. Sometimes a leap of faith is the answer to what you're praying for, but you also need to ask God which leaps to take. Today, remind yourself that all leaps of faith are backed by what you know is right. Taking a leap of faith is great if it's a part of God's will. Ask God to...

Have Excitement.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭ I got in a conversation with another believer tonight, and as we talked about God they said, "I'm so excited. I get this excitement inside of me when I talk about God with others." Why is it we can get excited over a video game, a sports team, or events but we tend to be so dull when it comes to talking about God? We should be most excited when we talk about God to others even if they are fellow believers. We need to use that excitement. When writing this it came to me that we call sharing the gospel the Good News at times. If it's Good News why do we seem dull when sharing it? When we get to tell someone something exciting like the fact we are saved by Jesus and they can experience what we are experiencing shouldn't we be just as excited? Today, when sharing the gospel do it with excite...

Working For Jesus.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ When we are doing something the Bible says to do it as if we were working for Jesus. There are days we each don't want to work, and go to make a living for ourselves, but we are blessed to have the opportunity to do so. Imagine how well we would do our jobs if we worked as though we were working for God. The way we would be so productive would be amazing. You have to make sure you're taking the opportunity to do the best you can where you are. God gives each of us a purpose in life and makes a way for us to make an income. We have to take that opportunity when it comes and be grateful to work when we can. Today, whatever your job might be work as though you're working for God. Be productive. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has ...

His Mercy Remains.

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭ A thousand times I've failed but Your mercy remains, those lyrics are so deep when we consider them that it's how we are. We fail God so many times in life, whether by falling into sin, running from God or our purpose, or many other things. We all hate to fail God, but we must remind ourselves that His mercy does remain. His mercy truly does remain. The Bible says that His mercies renew every morning. We as humans are quick to cut someone off when they fail us, whether it be relationships, friendships, or family. The good thing is God never lets our failures be held against us. He knows we as humans are not and will never be as good as Him, but the Bible does tell us that if we are not willing to forgive those who do us wrong, then our Father in Heaven will not forgive us. Today, remind yourself to be merciful as God is. People's words often hurt us and push us away, but we have to r...

Be Found.

“In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” Luke‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭ We all were once lost, but thank God we have been found. It amazes me that He truly does leave the ninety-nine to find the one. We all have run from God at times and knew we were. We sometimes know our calling and fear we cannot live up to it, other times we let our flesh lead us away from God. Getting comfortable in sin is scary, we don't feel convicted even when we know something is wrong. That is a scary place to be. We have to stay on guard and be firm in being in the right mindset and fleeing from sin. When we do make mistakes we have to remind ourselves that we have a loving God that will leave the ninety-nine to find us. We are never too far gone for the amazing Savior we serve. He will always come to find us. Today, if you're running from God, let Him in. If you're lost let God show...

Sit Down And Be Still.

““Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”” Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭ Remember as a kid when you would wake up on Christmas morning so excited, but your parents would tell you to be still and wait a minute. It was so hard to be still while being so excited. How many times in life do we have a problem with being patient with God, when we get excited for what He is doing? We tend to want to take things into our own hands and make things happen for us. We should remind ourselves that the promises of God will always come to us, we just need to remain still and calm. We cannot jump ahead and make things happen because we will never understand all that God is doing. The plans of God are far greater than the plans we have for ourselves. Today, if you're waiting on something for God remind yourself to sit back and patiently wait, God has it all under control. Just because you don't see it, or feel it yet know that it is comin...

Speak Positive!

“The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”” Matthew‬ ‭12:37‬ ‭ The world teaches us that what we say to ourselves doesn't matter if we don't say it to others. Later in life, it leads to us speaking doubt into our own lives, and hate to ourselves. It does matter what you say to yourself and about those around you when you're alone. Words hurt people, but the worst part is that God sees what we say to ourselves about others whether we say it to them or not. It's the same as saying it to them. When you speak of yourself or others always speak hope! Never let the negative win. You cannot let the negative outweigh the positive. Today use your words as positive instead of negative. Don't use words for harm, use them for good even if it's only about yourself. The same way words hurt others your words can hurt yourself. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak...

Self-care With God.

“But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭ Self-care is so important, it comes in many different forms but my favorite type of self-care is to spend time with God. It restores my strength, energy, hope, faith, and even my joy. We can spend time with ourselves but it is most important to spend alone time with God. This verse tells us we should go to a room alone to pray, and sometimes it's hard to find time for ourselves, but it is important to do so. We get so caught up in life that we forget to make time for God. Today, remind yourself to make time for God and to spend time alone in prayer. It can restore you and uplift you. Time with God is so important and one of the most valuable things in life. Instead of spending time alone, try spending time with God! That is better than time to yourself. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Confess your...

Your Time Is Coming.

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ Maybe your time has yet to come. We each desire something that we would love to have, and achieve. Some dream of getting married, being a parent, getting their dream job, the house they've always wanted, the car they've always wanted, or even smaller things. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that if we got everything that we want the exact second we want we would never appreciate things when they come in due time. The Bible tells us that there is a season for everything. We have to remind ourselves that even if we are in a season of drought the rain will come. There is always a season of blessings ahead, we just have to have faith until we get there. Today, hold on to the hope that the time has not yet come, but it will. God has never and will never let you down. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted et...

The Blessings Flow.

“Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:6‬ ‭ Today I realized that a year ago, even six months ago I would have never seen all the amazing things God has done for me. I sat and cried joyfully at how far God had brought me in such a short period. I never saw the blessings coming the way they did or when. Sometimes we need to sit and think about how we were a year ago, the things we wished for and achieved. If you're in a place right now that you once prayed to be in that is a blessing, that is something you need to thank God for. It's easy to thank God when things happen but what's even better is to thank Him before it does. Spend time in prayer and thought today about how far God has brought you. You are walking into the biggest blessing season that you have ever experienced. God has so many amazing things in store for you, just wait and trust Him to see what He has in store for you. Today, thank God for how much He has changed your life...

Be Kind To Others.

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬  ‭Jesus didn't have to agree with someone or their actions to be kind to them. You can be kind and love someone despite their actions and words. You don't have to base what someone does on how you treat them. When you make the choice to be kind to someone it doesn't matter what they believe, how they act, or how they speak, the action of being kind comes from you and your choice to do so. When you find yourself around or speaking to someone that might come across as difficult to be kind to remind yourself that sometimes we do things that I'm more than positive God wouldn't want to be kind to us over. Today, choose to be kind to those who are sometimes difficult, you are an example of the kindness of God. People look at us as Christians by how we treat others. You never know the impact you could make on someone by being kind. Here are ...

God Does It!

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭ We tend to brag on others and even ourselves and we often times forget to brag on God. There's this saying that everyone keeps saying, "self-made." It's one of those things that kind of annoys me. We are not self-made. Nothing in life we are accomplishing is because of ourselves. We don't make things happen, God does. So instead of saying, "I have done this", change it to God has done this. We are nothing without Christ. We are not the reason things are accomplished, God is. We tend to get into our own heads and make ourselves seem bigger and better than God when that is far from it. Don't get me wrong we can be proud of ourselves for having faith, and choosing to accomplish things, but we have to remind ourselves where our strength comes from. Today, be open to everyone and yourself saying that God is the reason and way for your accomplishments. Here are some vers...

Keep Praying!

“Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ Don't stop praying just because you don't see the solution yet. God doesn't work on your timetable, He works on His! We often think we should stop praying because we don't see immediate results. God has a plan for you and sometimes the prayer that you are praying doesn't fit in the picture right now. Sometimes what we are praying for is a part of God's plan for us but not in the moment that we pray for it, and other times God has something better prepared for us. Not everything we pray for is meant to be, but we can cling to the knowledge that God will give us something better if it isn't. Today, keep praying. If your prayer still needs to be answered then it will be. Either on God's timing or with something better, either way, you can cling to the knowledge that God will never forget you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.” Ps...

Do Not Fear!

“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.” Isaiah‬ ‭48:17‬ ‭ Today, I was doing something and I have feared something for a while, I struggle with anxiety and I hate to feel trapped. I have been scared this one thing would happen and send me into a panic. So today, I had a thought and it was, "One day God is going to do this exact thing I fear to teach me the lesson that I have nothing to even be afraid of." About 15 seconds later that's exactly what happened. I realized in that moment that God was speaking to me for weeks that taking that chance was nothing to fear, it was all a lie in my mind to tell me to be afraid. Just what I was worried about was nothing but the enemy's lies wrapped in my brain because God already knew He would give me peace. I realized that I need to have more faith in God knowing that He is going to take care...

Walk By Faith.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ It's hard for us to not let doubt control what we know we trust God with. We have to stop walking by sight instead of by faith. When we walk into places we know that God wants us to be we have faith that He will lead us into the right places. Now there is a keynote in that last sentence, "that we know that God wants us in", you have to be certain it is what God wants for you. It is complete self-destruction if we walk into a place of sin and assume we are walking by faith, it is far from faith. You have to make sure when you say that you're walking by faith that it is by God's plan not your own. Your flesh will lead you into places you were never meant to step foot in, but God's plans will lead you to step into your purpose. Ask yourself today are the steps that you're taking in faith going towards God's plan or your plans? Here are some verses ...
