Keep Praying!

“Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”John‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭ There are prayers that you once prayed that you are currently living in. You have to think back to a time in your life where you once prayed for the things that you have now. At times doubt will creep in and make you think that God isn't listening to your prayers. The Bible tells us that if we ask anything in His name then He will give us what we are asking for. He knows what we need before we ask, but when we ask it proves our faith that we know He can do it. There will come a time in your life, where you will look back on the place we are at now, all the prayers you are praying and you will thank God for listening and answering your prayers. Keep having the faith that God will do exactly what you're asking for. Today, keep praying even when you have doubts that you're being heard. Someday your prayers will become the reality in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “for you answer our p...

It's Still Going To Happen!

“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭ It's still going to happen. That dream you have in your mind while reading this that you know God put there, know that God is going to open the doors for it to come true. He doesn't give us false hope, He wants us to believe even when everyone around us thinks we are crazy. Think about Noah, God gave him a word to build a boat, he done just and God had spoken. There was no rain, or stormy clouds until God shut the door and the world believed that God would do it then. The same is often in our lives. Others don't see the promise that we do, they don't have the faith that we do. They make fun of us, mock us and even talk bad about us for believing in something that has not yet come. God will reward you for staying true to believing in His word. He will make things come to pass! Today, just have faith even when you can't see it happening. Here...

God Always Provides!

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭ If God remembers the Lillies of the field of course He will remember you. We spend too much time stressing over things that don't amount to anything at the end of the day. We might have things that we want but God will provide the things that we need. We are cared for by Jesus. The days we are in doubt we need to remember that God will provide. Today, go to God in prayer asking for anything you want and need and watch God provide for the things that you need. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then the Lord will provide shade for Mount Zion and all who assemble there. He will provide a canopy of cloud during the day and smoke and flaming fire at night, covering the glorious land.”Isaiah‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭ “This will provide for the Bread of the Presence; for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings; for the offerings on...

Focus On What You Can Do Now!

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:25‬ ‭ Imagine the change we could make in the world if instead of questioning what God is doing next we worked with all of ourselves where we are! God has amazing plans for our futures but we need to start with the present time. We should work hard as we can at whatever we do right now knowing that what is next will come when we need it to. I have a hard time focusing on things currently happening at times, because I am a daydreamer. I constantly am excited for what's next. Recently I have started focusing on right now, what I can do to help others where I am. It's like I felt a weight lifted off of me knowing I am making a change now. Today, help others where you are. Don't be so focused on what is next that you won't allow God to use you for His Kingdom where you are now. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bri...

You Can Be Used For Good!

“But now your kingdom must end, for the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart. The Lord has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭13:14‬ ‭ David was a man after God's own heart. He made mistakes, he sinned, he was imperfect. He was also a shepherd, musician, warrior, a king, author of many Psalms, Father to Solomon, defeated Goliath and in the lineage of Jesus. He was a man of many different accomplishments. He also committed adultery and murder. He was imperfect but that didn't change the fact that He was called by God. God knew you'd fall short, and He knew you'd be imperfect. That doesn't change the fact God has called you for something amazing. Your calling is important. You can accomplish a lot of things. Today, don't think that your calling is gone because you've fell short and sinned. God knew each of us would, that is why He sent Jesus. Just don't continue to sin k...

Talk About Jesus All The Time!

“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭ Do people label you as someone who never stops talking about God? Being open about your faith is so important. What if the only time someone ever hears about God is through you speaking to them about Him. Not everyone grew up in church, Sunday school, youth group and Bible's all over the house. Some kids grew up where religion was never spoken of, and weren't allowed to talk of the subject. Some kids grew up in brokenness where God wasn't in their everyday lives. Try to be kind and compassionate by showing the love of Jesus, while also telling them about Him. You never know the impact your words could make for that person. You could help save their souls. Someone could be saved thanks to you being open about Jesus. Today, be open about Jesus, if someone knows you then they should constantly be learning abo...

Take Him The Burden!

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭ Do you ever get tired of carrying what feels like the weight of the world? I know I do. There are times in my life where I have to just pray that God will give me peace. Every thing that happens for us, with us and to us are a plan from God. The world often throws baggage on us that we carry around like a backpack on us. I have found out that sometimes the battle and all that baggage that I’m carrying around is what takes us to the place we've been praying for all along. Every little detail is a plan. We have to let go of the things that hurt us and weigh us downs and call to God for the rest and peace we need. Today, trust in God. Take all the weight you're carrying and lay it at the cross. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”...

God Will Protect His Children!

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬  ‭As an American citizen of course we as humans panicked at first when we realized the US had struck Iran today. Our flesh tells us to panic, be cautious and to wait for the worst. The Bible tells us not to fear. We cannot go by what we see but instead what we know. God will protect His people. We as believers are His children, no matter where we are we are protected. The Bible tells us not to worry about the terrors of the night or the arrows that fly by day. He has everything under control. He doesn't get upset the way we do, God knows and sees all. He will protect you if you put your faith in Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.” Psalms‬ ‭91:5‬ ‭ “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9‬ ‭ “no evil will conquer you; no plague wil...

God's Yes Is What Matters.

“He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭ Nobody's no can compete with God's yes! We are so quick to get upset when a person says no to something we think is impossible if they do so. The truth is nothing in this world is impossible with God. I had someone ask me what if someone that was a key in what God has for you doesn't do what God is asking them to do. I had a revelation come to me. In the book of Esther it says Mordecai tells Esther if she isn't willing to do what is needed to save the Jews then hope will arise from another place. I think when someone says no, God will allow someone else to stand up and do what is needed. Today, trust that God will send someone to replace that no with a yes in your life. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He has everything under control. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, bu...

The End Is Not Yet Here.

“And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.” Matthew‬ ‭24:6‬ ‭ I am a born and raised US citizen as most of you who read my blogs know. I know everyone in this country has heard about the possibility of wars. All of my social media is filled with the world is ending, Jesus is coming back, this war means it's the end and so much more. The problem is that creates fear inside us that isn't based on facts. I know Jesus is coming back soon, but this talk of war is not it. Let's break this verse down together. There will be wars, we know in this moment there are wars in the world. Israel and Iran, Israel and Gaza, and Russia and Ukraine are a few I know of. Those are wars happening. Then the rumors of the wars come in, where they say the United States is possibly going to get involved. The next part says that the end is not yet here. There are a few things you can depend fully on, one be...

The Love Of A Heavenly Father!

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭ Father's Day was a this passed Sunday. I have a wonderful dad. We are very close, he is my best friend, my pastor, my spiritual leader, and so many more things. He is always there when I need him. The love he has always given me is the true example of Jesus. When I think of how Jesus loves us it makes me smile. Not everyone had the same experience as me with a great dad, not every child has felt the love of an earthly father. I hurt for those who never have gotten to experience it. The good thing is we can all experience the love of God. Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we can ever think or imagine. His love never runs out, never stops and never lets go. Even when we get on the wrong path, He loves us. He never once has stopped loving you. Let Jesus show you what real love feels like. Today, know that Jesus loves you so much. No...

Don't Sin With Them.

“or you will learn to be like them and endanger your soul.” Proverbs‬ ‭22:25‬ ‭ Relationships and friendships should draw you closer to God not closer to sin. Who you're surrounding yourself with matters. I get so irritated when someone says, "But Jesus ate with the sinners." Yes, He did. There is a part to of that though, He did not sin with them. Can you truthfully say that if you're in a room where everyone is gossiping that you won't do so? If you're in the room and everyone is doing something you know is not right will you give in just to fit in? Being around those who sin in a public setting is one thing, we often cannot avoid that. Being in private with someone you know is going to lead you closer to sin is a choice. You have to be careful who you're letting in, guarding your soul is so important. You will not answer for anyone else's mistakes, only your own. You have to choose good people that are on the right path so that you will not be lead ...

The Mountain Top Will Come!

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” Numbers‬ ‭23:19‬ ‭ I was facing trials in my life and felt like God had maybe forgotten or taken the promise back that He has for me. I was feeling so discouraged in the midst of my valley. I seen a rainbow after a storm came through, it was so beautiful I could see the whole thing. I was reminded that His promises never change. When God makes a promise He keeps it forever. He never will change His mind. If you're willing to walk through the door then God will open it. God spoke to me and said "This is just a valley on the way to the mountain top I have for you." That seems small to most but it meant a lot to me in the midst of the battle I was in. God's plans are always good even when we cannot yet see it. Today, trust God, know that His promises are forever and will never fail. Here are some v...

Take Time To Read The Word.

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John‬ ‭1:1‬  ‭Read the Word until the Word flows from you. It doesn't matter how many verses, stories of the Bible and books of the Bible you have heard over your lifetime. There comes a time where if you want God to flow through you, and let His spirit guide you then you have to come to a place where you take time no matter how busy life is and read His Word. That is where the change begins, it matters that you spend time with God. You can never grow if you're not being watered. The Word is the water in our lives. We need it daily to grow. Today, take time to read the Bible and really take it in. It matters that you make an effort. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭ “For the word of God will never fail.”” Luke‬ ‭1:37‬ ‭ “Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you w...

Power In The Tongue.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ If words have power imagine how much power is in a prayer. The words you speak matter. When you speak doubt in your life you are showing God that you doubt what He is doing for you. When you speak joy, hope, peace and strength you are speaking by the faith of God that He will do what you're needing. You need to speak by faith and not by doubt. Today, catch yourself from being doubtful with your words. Replace those words with faith. God loves when we speak hope into our lives. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”” Matthew‬ ‭12:37‬  ‭ “In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.” James‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭ “And so blessing and ...

God's Opinion Is All That Matters!

“So don’t be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭ At the end of the day what really matters is what God thinks of your choices. People will judge you, not agree with you and try to question why you make certain choices in your own life. What matters is not what they say, but what God thinks. Their opinions do not change anything in your life even when it seems like their opinions do. God's opinion is the one that changes everything. Think about the story of Esther where her uncle told her that if she did not do what was needed hope would arise from another place. When you fear the opinion of someone else will effect what could happen in your life, remember that God will allow hope to arise from another place. God can use anyone, and if He wants you to have something. Today, stop worrying about what others think, and worry about what God thinks. He knows best. He can make doors open in front of those who talk about you. Here are some vers...

Speak It By Faith.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ This time next year I am fully claiming that my family and I will be in the perfect will of God. I have been praying about something for years, someone prophesied over my family that it would take place. In the next year. I one hundred percent believe it. See the thing is there is no proof of what I have prayed for yet, there is only the voice of faith speaking in my mind. I know it's coming without the evidence and that is true faith. I truly have faith that will move mountains as it only takes a tiny bit. Today, whatever you're looking for start speaking it by faith like I am. You have to have the kind of faith that will move mountains if you expect God to do the impossible for you. Today, have faith that you know God will see and be proud of. Have faith when nothing is moving or changing knowing that God can and will do the impossible for you. Here are some verses to ...

Don't Ghost Your Gift!

“If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”” Esther‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭ You're too anointed to keep ghosting your own gift. I started to be prepared for the gift God was going to use me for. Without knowing, at fourteen I went to a new school, they worked extra hard to help me in grammar. I've told about this a lot, but as a child it was so embarrassing being singled out by having a subject I struggled so much in. Looking back now I see that God was preparing me, completely to write blogs. The entire time that I thought I was being punished for not being smart enough I was being prepared for my gift. My anointing was with me my whole life, just waiting to be used in my gift. You cannot keep walking away from the gift God has given to you, you are anointed. You are chosen to do something very special, but if you keep...

Glory To God!

“All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.” Galatians‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ Sometimes the way God fixes things is not how you expect Him to do so. I was praying over something in my life, instead of God handing me what I wanted He allowed me to fail. I couldn't understand why I had failed, but looking back I needed to come to the place to know there was no other way I thought it could happen other than God to help me accomplish it. It was something that I couldn't do myself. I promised God if He let me accomplish what I was praying for I would give Him all the glory. The day that it happened I made a post all over social media, told everyone I knew that it was all by the grace of God this had happened, and all the glory was to Him. Today, if things don't look like how you expected God to answer your prayer know that He will answer the prayer but maybe it's not how you think He will. He will give you something better, and when He does give Him the glory. Here are some verses to reflec...

God Will Do The Impossible!

“He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭ It's God's job to do the impossible, but it's your job to believe that He will. We often times find ourselves in a position where the only option is to trust that God will handle what we can't. That sometimes is the position that we truly grow our faith, and where we learn that whatever God does is so much better than we could have ever done on our own. You trusting God to do what you can't is the best thing you could ever do. What God has in store for you will always be great. The Bible says He takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it for good. God's plans are great. Today, trust God as He is going to do the impossible in your life. Your job is to wait and have the faith of a mustard seed for Him to do it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”” ‭‭Matt...

The Puzzle Will Come Together.

“Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.”” John‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭ If only you could see the plan through His eyes. We see a tiny puzzle piece and think it doesn't fit anywhere near what God is doing, we think that it doesn't fit into the whole plan. We think that somehow this tiny puzzle piece must have went to the wrong person because it makes no sense to us. Why is it we trust the people who make puzzles everyday to make sure every piece is in the box for us, but we cannot trust how God is working things out for us. We think that what we are seeing would not fit into our lives. God knows the whole picture, if only we could see that we would see that God is working it all out for our good. He knows the plans He has for us, and they are always good. Today, trust that every piece of your life is apart of a huge puzzle God can see! You might not understand how what God is doing, but someday you'll see the whole puzzle and will. Here are some ve...

By God's Grace.

“But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭ This next chapter of your life when God does something great don't forget to give Him all the glory. You did not get where you are on your own. When we are blessed we tend to forget how God got us to where we are, how He makes a way for us to receive the blessings we are praying for. We didn't get things on our own, it is all by God's grace. Think about it this way, when we get up to leave in the mornings it's by God's grace that our vehicles run properly, when your healthy remember that is a blessing from God's grace. Every little detail is by the grace of God, we are blessed to be His children. Today, give all the glory to God knowing that you did not get where you are by yourself. Here are some verses to refl...

For Such A Time As This.

“If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”” Esther‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭ You could have been called for such a time as this. This verse is one of my favorites. If we read it in depth we will also see that it goes on to say but if Esther had not done what she was asked, hope would have arose from another place. That tells me when I pray and you pray for God to send someone to help us that if that person doesn't choose to follow the will of God, then someone else will be called in the place of them. We each have a time where God calls us for such a time as this. The thing is either we can choose to do the will of God, and not follow our own sinful desires, and be blessed for what we are doing. Instead of choosing the wrong path and not being blessed. Today, know God had called you for a purpose, it's your choice to fol...

Let God Direct The Path!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ God cannot direct a path that you're not allowing Him to. When you're constantly taking things into your own hands, making decisions before asking God what He wants and doing things because you want them you will never be on a path that God directed. You cannot expect God to be in the center of something you never asked Him to be. You have to allow God to take control and a lot of times that means waiting even when you want to rush things. Today, allow God to be in full control. Let Him lead the way, knowing that what He has for you will find you without you having to make it happen. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭ “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s p...

God Looks On The Inside.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭ People are always going to look at the outward appearance. Even from the Bible people have a done so. We might feel that they even judge us which is something God will handle. The great part is God never looks at the things we're insecure about. The Bible says that God looks on the heart. That means that nothing people pick at us over or that we notice about ourselves is important in the long run. Today, let go of the things people judge you, look at you funny over or anything else. God is more worried about the way you treat people, how your own attitude is, and all the things that only you and God know. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21:2‬ ‭ “But ...

Glory To God!

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ Know that God will do it. I had an exam today after failing this week, I was extremely nervous more than before even though I knew I could retake it I did not want to have to. I prayed before my exam and asked God to please grant me the wisdom He did. I passed the test. I was so relieved knowing that it was only by His grace that I done so. Today, if you're asking God for wisdom or help know that He will show up but when He does do not forget to give Him the glory. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”” Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭ “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you n...
